I am not having a go at either Amazon or the manufacturer as I am sure the specified lengths are quite right. However, I wanted to connect a camera to a monitor with this cable and it is pretty tight - albeit well made.I imaging it would be great on a Small Rig sort of set up but the contracted length is only 40 cm or so out of the box and it is not keen to expand, so it puts some pressure on your camera motherboard sockets. I changed to a 2m straight cable and will keep this one for other rigging purposes.Essentailly a well made, quality product though at a fair price.

The item was well packaged to protect from dust/damage. It's working well with my screen (a screen that is particularly reactive to poor quality HDMI cables).

Excellent cable for taking HDMI from a camcorder
I purchased this for use with a Canon camcorder, which is used for livestreaming church services. The HDMI in turn goes to an ATEM MiniPro switcher, and from there on to YouTube.It can be secured to the camcorder battery, insuring that there is no strain on the mini-HDMI port on the camcorder.

It works, cable very rigid.
I used it to connect my phone to my DSLR camera. It works, but the cable is very rigid, stiff, and it sticks out in a curve to the side. If I move the phone, or touch the cable with anything, it moves the HDMI connector in the camera and makes it loose.

Well Made and Works, Too!
Materials and construction good. Fit good. Works between my D7100 Nikon camera (mini HDMI) and an HDMI (standard) video monitor input. Pleased with the purchase, reasonably priced for the 30-foot length.
