ONE Protein Bar, Chocolate Birthday Cake, 22g Protein, 1g Sugar, 12-Pack

Not as good as the regular cake flavor, if you've had that. Maybe if you're a chocolate lover?Still, all of the Oh Yeah! bars are really good and this is no exception. Soft texture, kind of like a sugar cookie. Also very sweet, so if you're not into sugary-tasting stuff this might not work for you. I use these to kill my sweet tooth and they work well.

Oh yeah bars are still my absolute favorite, they're cake-like not chewy like a protein bar. Chocolate cake was not my favorite, but it was still really good. I'm not as big of a chocolate fan, I prefer the regular birthday cake. I think cookies and cream may be my fav it has enough chocolate and vanilla flavor combined.

For being 1g of sugar they are actually good! I have only tried the chocolate birthday cake and I'm sad to say, it doesn't taste much like cake or even a cookie. You can tell it's a protein bar for sure! But I would definitely get these again!

The flavor of the outer coating is ok, but the inside still has that chalky protein powder taste and gritty texture. It's marginally better than other brands I have tried. Not something I'm really excited to reach for.

I'm not into protein bars... they all have that protein bar taste. BUT these are really pretty good. They are dense and chewy and tasty with just an ever so slight taste of "protein bar". That's why I give them a 4 and not a 5, but really, They are pretty good!

Tastes good and has a good macro nutrition profile for my diet goals. I like birthday cake flavor so these were great.If you're looking for a high protein low sugar bar this is a great bar. Just a disclaimer it contains sugar alcohols which gives some peoplediarrhea.

I am a fan of the normal birthday cake bars, and so I wanted to give these a shot. They are good, but not as good as the regular birthday cake bars. I probably wont buy another box of this flavor.

As always, I love the quality of One Bars, hence why I've giving five stars. However, this flavor while not terrible isn't my favorite. It has a bit of a sour taste to it, which I think might be coming from the sugar alcohols. I would still purchase the flavor again, though! What amazes me about these bars is their ability to keep my feeling full for an extended period of time. As a runner/lifter, it's really imperative for me to get the nutrients and energy I need while being conscious of the type of fuel I'm using. This brand is amazing, and has become my go-to brand for protein bars. Highly recommended, but would recommend those who want to try this flavor also try the regular birthday cake flavor!

Ordered the item for a Birthday treat in November 2017. Having received the order find that the Best Before date was 02 November 2017.[16246B5}Very short life span of the bars. The other items I ordered have April and May 2018 BB dates.The item was not shown as a reduced price. No date shown of production.Will need in the future check the BB date. This item will now no longer be given as a present.
