The best by far
We have been reordering these over and over. We compared them with at least 3 competitors but others were either too moist, or a sticky mess, or did not even have any candied coating or were too dry. These La Tienda candied chestnuts could not be better, match our memory of those eaten in France for Christmas, and come in a very classy convenient glass jar. Not only delicious but a perfect gift.

In lack of better words, a piece of heaven in my mouth.Holly Toledo!!! Cuevas Marrón Glacé is beyond delicious. I don’t have words to describe how delicious this is.It’s a bit pricey, but it takes a lot to manufacture this product. Some things are worth the price.This is one of them. If you do buy this, enjoy it!!!

So deliciously delicate...
Have never tried but always wanted to. These are awesome! The sweetness is not overwhelming and the buttery nuttiness is delicately mouthwatering. A definite special occasion sweet.

Disappointed, not great at all
The flavor was pretty good, but nothing like the Marron Glaces you can get just about anywhere in France. Unless there is something in the production that causes this, they didn't seem like entire chestnuts but like they were processed and then candied. If the price was more reasonable, they would have been okay, but at this price, they should have been excellent. I bought these for my Mom to surprise her for Mother's Day. She was happily surprised but then only mildly when she ate them (but she was grateful for the thought).

Expensive, but oh my!
These were amazing! Much better than some of the French ones I have tried and in perfect condition. They arrived ahead of schedule and just in time for my birthday. There were 9 pieces in my jar but unfortunately they didn't last long. They are fairly pricy so not something I will be buying regularly, but I will definitely be getting more.
