Easy setup and helpful tool for old and young
The EZ-Fret Guitar Attachment is definitely a good purchase! It is easy to set up and definitely eases the experience for those who are just beginning to learn how to play the guitar. For those are just learning guitar for the first time, if you put in the effort learning the EZ-Fret, it will teach you where to place each finger for the chord. Not only is it good for beginners, but it is also a good product for individuals who have aging fingers. The EZ-Fret is super simple to install and works well for all age groups. The installation does not damage the guitar, fits nearly every guitar, and is very durable. Overall, the EZ-Fret guitar is well designed that allows you to learn guitar quickly and definitely worth the money and investment! You get the best bang for your buck! My nephew wanted to learn the guitar but always had problems with pain on his fingers. Hence, the EZ-Fret Guitar Attachment is a perfect beginner tool that is now used by my nephew and his grandfather who is already older while he teaches him how to play the guitar!

did exactly like video showed about double wrapping rubberbands
I watched the video 3 times, did exactly like video showed about double wrapping rubberbands. Read the long letter thatAccompanied the thing, the chords don’t sound the same at all to me & my guitar is in tune, I worked with it for several minutes, if you don’t double wrap it, it is flemsy & scoots around, if you double wrap it it makes the chords sound higher or more squeaky to me. I just started playing the guitar & my fingers are killing me, I haven’t hardened my guitar playing fingers yet so thought this aparatus was going to be the answer to my prayers, it feels good when I have it in & holding my guitar but the notes totally don’t sound like my guitar teachers & im taking online classes so it makes me feel like I’m not hitting the correct notes so I have decided to put the aparatus in my guitar case Incase I ever come across someone who might know how to help me get it installed correctly Incase I’m missing something but I honestly think if you’re learning guitar, you’re just going to have to build the padding up on your guitar playing fingers & you need to FEEL those guitar strings, know where they are & get used to what they actually feel like, I think this aparatus might work better for children just learning the notes & not concerned with the sound of the note but in the seller’s defense - the aparatus does come with a note saying if in any way you are not satisfied please give us a call at such & such. I read all the reviews before I ordered it but watched the video & thought maybe others who said it didn’t work just didn’t have it installed correctly but it just doesn’t work right, it made all of my chords sound the same and all high shrilled. I wish it did work.

May be useful for beginners
This product is good for beginners, but it does not retain its position on the freat board. As you start practice more you feel that this is becoming obstacle for your play.Bad part is the threading on the plastic does not last long..

Almost perfect
Fit on my 3/4 scale Mitchell electric guitar. Had to adjust it just right , but works like a charm. I am a drummer, so not a musician , but having owned multiple guitars and giving up in frustration , I can say that this little gadget is helping me. Wish I had it years ago. I am right handed , but play guitar and drums left handed and sing, so not a rookie. I can also see where this would help those with missing fingers and / or disabilities such as carpal tunnel and such. Even came with instructions and extra rubber bands.Bottom line , yes , I would buy it again. After all it's only $12.95 with free shipping

I was making beautiful chords. With one week's practice I was able ...
My goal was just to be able to play a few chords to accompany some campfire singing, or my church's children's choir: I'm not trying to become the next Hendrix. That said, I was having a lot of trouble even playing "simple" chords because I have very soft, wide fingers and I just couldn't get them to not mute the neighboring strings. This device did the trick. Within minutes of rubber-banding it on and adjusting the height screws (an important step), I was making beautiful chords. With one week's practice I was able to easily accompany a group of singing children with the four or five chords that I had learned. (And those sweet kids even said I was the best guitar player they had ever heard--lol! best possible beginning audience, am I right?!) As an learning-aid I put colored-coded stickers right on the button-surfaces that I needed for my chords. I haven't had any trouble with the ez-fret coming off or damaging the guitar, although it does slide and sometimes needs scooted back to position, and I did have to adjust the screws a couple of times. Some people complained that it made chords harder to reach, but I haven't had any problems, and I have the smallest hands of any adult woman I have ever met, though I do play the piano and cello, so I've had some practice stretching my reach. I know, short hands, thick fingers--and I'm not even overweight--how does that happen? Anyway, I highly recommend this for casual guitar playing. If you want to become the next Hendrix, you'd probably better learn to do it the normal way, though.
