great clamps
If you are a wood working enthusiast you likely own many clamps, these are among the best parallel jaw design I use on a regular basis, I have other brands I like but these are my first grab off the rack when glue ups are happening, ease of adjustment is one of the reasons as well as clean up, the smooth bar makes using a scraper to clean random glue spots off very easy, the others have subtle ribs the length of the bar & cleanup is a pain in the arsh. Orange is good!

Jorgensen is the
I have been a wood worker for over 50 years. I own and haved used all sorts of clamps but after all those years I have found that the jorgensen parallel clamps are my go to almost exclusively particularly if the glue needs to exactly square and parallel.I have parallel clamps from other manufacturers but the dont compare to Jorgensen's in functionality or durability. They are worth the investment. I have 26 of them in 5 different sizes.

Great Brand
After I bought and used my first Jorgenson clamp I had to have more. These are among the best and most reliable clamps I own now. Their one handed squeeze clamps are also by far the best I've used. Nice sturdy wide clamping surfaces that allow good force to be applied without damaging the piece. I added some of their other clamps with the twist handle and also of excellent quality and large flat clamping surfaces that to not distort under high pressure. I also like these because unlike the standard pipe clamps you can put them under or over the work piece and still have clearance to turn the handles.

Why not own the Best
You can never have enough clamps. Why not own the best. I already owned several Jorgensen and Beesey bar clamps. I needed some longer clamps so picked up 4 of these at a good priced during the Black Friday sale. I also own a collection of pipe clamps which I previously used for large clamp ups. I prefer the bar clamps as they apply a much more even pressure to my work. These also don't get rusty like the pipe clamps do. I like my Jorgensen's over my Beesey's (not fully sure why) but both are great clamps. These clamps provide even clamp pressure across the full length of the jaw which minimizes warpage caused by the clamp pressure. The clamps lay flat on my glue-up table making clamp ups easy. Looking to pick up a few more of the smaller clamps.

Good Quality Parallel Jaw Clamps, but Don’t Dispose of Your Old Clamps
Over the last 12 months I purchased 56 Cabinet Master parallel jaw clamps, ranging in size from 18 inches to six feet. Overall, I find these Jorgensen parallel clamps useful for many clamping situations, but inadequate or frustrating to use in other situations. Other brands of parallel jaw clamps may have similar problem scenarios as these clamps. On a few occasions during glue ups, I have had to remove a Jorgensen parallel jaw clamp and replace it with a 20 to 30 year old Jorgensen steel I-bar clamp or an equally old Pony ¾” pipe clamp when the parallel jaw clamp’s screw refused to turn far enough to draw a mortise and tendon joint together, refused to close the gaps in a tight tolerance ¼, ¼, ¼ drawer box, or the jaws moved beyond parallel once a joint was fully closed.Positives (using the U.S. manufactured Jorgensen steel I bar clamps as a point of comparison):• The plastic jaws rarely require using glue blocks to avoid leaving dents in the wood that is clamped.• So far, it has not been necessary to use painter’s tape, waxed paper, or similar items between the wood and the bars of the clamps to prevent black staining in high tannin woods such as oak where the bar of a clamp makes contact with a glue joint.• Having the fixed end of the clamp completely flat allows the clamps to be used in areas where a steel I-bar clamp or pipe clamp will not fit. The flat fixed end of the clamps also permits panel glue ups to be easily stood on their edge while drying, even when different length clamps are used in the glue ups.• The long flat jaws enable the clamps to be laid flat across the surface of boards to be glued (such as 1/8” thick edging for plywood panels) to spread the clamp pressure evenly over a wider area, potentially reducing the number of required clamps.• The coarse and fine adjustments for clamping pressure are made at the same end of the clamps, which may simplify certain glue ups.Negatives:• When used or held in a vertical orientation, the non-fixed end of the clamps will shift position, potentially causing the face of the movable end of the clamp to slam into the fixed end of the clamp. This undesirable movement may lead to pinched fingers, reduced clamp life, and clamping issues during glue ups.• The clamp faces may move beyond parallel when the clamps are used to draw together a glue joint.• The tightening the clamp by hand, there may be occasions where the clamp handle refuses to turn before a glue joint is fully brought together. I have experienced this problem with at least one 30 inch clamp and at least one 60 inch clamp during glue ups, while the other clamps of the same size worked as expected in the glue up.

Clamp big stuff.
Package came in perfect condition. Clamps are solid and sturdy and hold two things together. What more could you ask for?

These are nice.
These are heavy! They clamp tight and HOLD for my carpentry needs. They can be a bit of a challenge getting them to release quickly and then reclamping, not sure what I am doing wrong. I will figure it out eventually, directions would have been helpful but maybe it’s just me. Regardless they do the job for large projects where you need the bigger clamps and they hold way better than today’s regular pipe clamps.

Essential for Woodworking
I purchased these clamps because I was working on a project where I needed something close to 48 inches of clamping ability in order to put the project pieces together. These worked perfectly for the job! They're very sturdy and have excellent clamping power. Wish I'd have had these a long time ago!
