60" Heat Resistant Thermal Silver Fabric by The Yard – Insulated Material for Ironing Board Covers, Heat Shields, and DIY Craft Projects

I've bought a total of 4 yards of this cloth, in 2 yard batches.I love it. The silver sheen is nice, the fabric is smooth to the touch, it's easy to cut, and it's easy to glue. It does fray a bit when cut with scissors, but when I folded the edges over and glued them down, it looked very tidy. It glues well-- I had no trouble using wood glue on it to attach it to some wooden frames.

I couldn’t bring myself to spend $20+ on a single pair simple potholders. This was $20 for a yard and I used materials I already had to make a few potholders and a trivet and still have enough leftover for many more projects and gifts. it’s easy to work with and arrived quickly.

Great fabric to make the ironing mat for gifts.

This fabric was perfect for covering the large pressing service my husband made for me! So much better than the cotton fabric I originally had on it (which tore over time). Time will tell how durable it is

Using to cover an ironing board. Great quality but has a very strong smell out of the package. Recommend letting it off-gas a little bit before trying to work with it.

I used this material to make an ironing station from a table, just wish it was wide enough to cover the whole table, but it worked for what I needed it to.
