Great plants! Fun Experiment
I decided to do some experimenting with these. Planted most outdoors, and 6 indoors in an aerogarden. The ones outside had half with basil as a companion, and the other half had chive. Every single root germinated and started off well. I unfortunately got root rot on the hydroponic ones but was able to save and salvage some of them and now they are thriving. For the ones that didn't make it, I was able to propagate the runners to replace them in the aerogarden. The goal of the experiment was to figure out if indoor or outdoor would produce a healthier/better strawberry.Outcome:The outdoor plants had direct sun for several hours a day, plus indirect. They grew large with some leaves the size of my hand. They grew a lot of flowers, attracted the bees and butterflies, grew some really good looking berries, then some birds or squirrels got them so I only managed to try a few so far. We also experienced a heat wave which really didnt help either the basil or strawberries. They are still producing right now. The companion plants definitely made a difference. I think the basil competed too much with the strawberry and they didn't get quite as big as the chive plant. The ones with the chive definitely appear healthier and larger overall. The indoor started off well, then went downhill fast. I was surprised any survived the root rot, which I blame myself for. The indoor survivors actually look the healthiest and happiest out of all the plants. There are currently 14 strawberries growing on 1 plant alone right now, with more flowers sprouting. The runners are still growing and haven't started flowering yet but they will soon and I will have strawberries all year! Due to the setback I haven't gotten my first ripe berry yet from the indoor. SOON!!!Overall, these bare roots came in excellent condition, they all germinated and produced healthy plants with delicious berries and I definitely recommend them! If you decide to grow outdoors and want to grow with a companion plant, chive gave me great results.

Very healthy plants
Wow. 100% of the roots leafed out within a few days. I was skeptical of success with bare roots so late in the season but I wanted to try growing hydroponically for the winter. I am shocked that in less than 2 weeks I am already seeing blooms on more than half of these plants. I had ordered bare roots last spring for outside from a well respected vendor and only 40% of the roots lived and most of the berries were stolen by chipmunks hence the attempt to grow indoors. I would definitely recommend this vendor for Seascape strawberry bare roots

Seems like you can't mess these up unless you try
Got these shipped during a big heat wave that I wasn't exactly expecting. So when they got here, I put them in front of the A/C vent and promptly forgot about them for 2 days. When I remembered, I came running into where I stashed them and found everyone growing already. Planted them in the garden and the next day already had almost an inch of growth. These plants are tough! Will absolutely be ordering from here again, and I can't recommend them enough. I've had no luck with several other companies, and these ones grew almost out of sheer spite. I love it.

Will buy more soon
These are doing very well and growing quickly. They have only been planted for a short time and are already growing new leaves. All 25 plants appear to be doing well.

Great product!
Since its July, the big companies won't send me bare root strawberries as its generally too hot outside for them... we i didn't want to plant them outside anyway because I just can't keep them alive outside due to all of the rain or excessive heat. This is my second attempt at growing them hydroponicly and I have to say, they are doing so well. They are already flowering!I got about 30 bare roots, with 27 of them actively growing.

Impressive growth, sort of
Sprouts were already beginning when I opened it. Good quality plants!UPDATE: most of the strawberry leaves just shrivel up after what looks like promising growth. A few small berries produced out of so many sprouts.I don’t advise using hanging baskets. Too many variables (heat, wind) and no stability. Give it a custom mix of soils for more success.. Watch pH and nitrogen levels.

Good quality roots
I received 27 useable roots. After 4 days all but 3 have healthy blooming leaves. I’m very happy with the quality.
