Works for Metapen 1
Having tried several clips for my Metapen 1, this one fits. It is tight and will hopefully keep it from getting lost. It baffles me why they don't come with a clip, unless they want you to lose it so you will buy another!

Stout pencil clip
They seem to be pretty strong but they are made for larger diameter pencils. A little squeeze from a pair of pliers and they work on the smaller ones. They held up from the pressure very well

No more lost iPencils!!!!! Great Find!
I have no idea WHY iPencils don’t come with a “clip” (..they wouldn’t want you to LOSE such an important accessory now, would they??). If not a permanently attached one, they could at least include “one of these” as an Option.A/w, THESE clips are Great! We had to snug the “fitting” around the pencil up a bit, so it would stay on tight, but it’s a thin metal and bends, so not a big deal.The clipping portion grips well onto whatever your clipping to.My son has lost his iPad pencils all school season (expensive!), and NOW, with this ~$1clip, it STAYS “attached to the pocket” and is lost no more!!I just wish I thought of this idea earlier! Save yourself a ton of money on replacement pencils. What a difference it makes! And, you get 5 of them! Deal.

Phenomenal grip!
These are great! I got them to use for some custom pens I had made that I wanted to put in my note book. The pens were too big for the holder in it and didn’t have a clip that I could hook them in with. I had to modify these to fit around them. One good thing about trying to open these up to fit around the pens were that it was actually HARD to do that. I was actually very pleased because it made them give it a very snug fit. They were exactly what I needed. I don’t see these as a “gift” but I highly recommend them if you have a favorite writing utensil and need a way to hook it to something. I was pleased with the value and was happy that they came in a pack of five so I didn’t have to buy several in individual quantities.

Fits on Kaweco Liliput (with pliers)
I just needed a clip for my Liliput that wasn’t long, expensive, or copper, like the proprietary one. Just here to confirm that these do indeed fit — just squeeze pinch each tine of the clip more open with pliers, and then press the top of the cap down onto the clip and slide it the rest of the way on. It fits tightly enough that the clip itself is totally usable without worrying about it falling off. Plus the pack came with five!! I was expecting one, but will totally take the extras :)

Too large for a #2 Pencil
The clips are too large to fit a standard #2 pencil. I tried the clips on 5 different brands of pencils that I have. Additionally when I attempted to squeeze one of the clips to make it tighter, it broke. I would not recommend.

Loose and can't be adjusted.
These didn't fit the pencils I tried them on, they are too big. I tried to bend it a little to crimp it on the pencil, but then they broke.
