Fohen Fahrenheit Matt Black 3-in-1 Instant Boiling Water Tap

Bought this for my daughter she loves it wish we could get the trim for the waste in the sink in this colour

I had this installed two days ago. I expected boiling water all the time, but seems to switch off if not used for a few hours. For example came down in the morning turned on tap and water was tepid. Checked boiler and it was barely showing 65 degrees. Had to reset to get it up to the required temp. Might as well boil the kettle.

This tap is amazing. 🤩. It looks so good and you can tell it is built to last. I have had mine for 3 months now with no problems at all. I love the fact that I can make a coffee without boiling a kettle. I have small kids too and the safety features are very reassuring.

Terrible customer service when things go wrong (which they will).I have wasted money using a tradesperson to diagnose issues which Fohen could have seen had they looked at the videos and photos I have sent over the last 5 months. They promise resolutions but nothing happens. Now being asked to pay a huge sum to replace a tiny plastic part in the tap which should never have broken had the tap been designed properly. Invest better in something that will last - as much as I want to support British buying a Fohen tap is a massive regret sadly.

We had a new kitchen installed about 12 months ago and one of the 'luxury' items we decided to go with was a boiling water tap.Fohen were recommended to us as a cheaper but equally good alternative to the leading brands.Unfortunately within 6 months water started pouring out the bottom of the unit, causing damage to our newly installed kitchen units.Fohen sent out a replacement boiler but didn't want to investigate why it had happened which I thought odd given that they had no idea why.Fast forward another 6 months and the brand new boiler has done exactly the same thing, water pouring out the bottom and causing further damage to the brand new kitchen units - this time I can't even get a response from Fohen let alone anyone to take ownership, investigate and put right the problem.My best guess is that there is some sort of pressure relief valve (we live in a really hard water area) that simply vents out the bottom of the unit but I don't suppose I'll ever find out given the distinct lack of interest from Fohen.Needless to say I have since purchased a market leading product and will be advising anyone to steer clear of the Fohen units.

DO NOT BUY FROM FOHEN. Their products are poor quality and break frequently.I bought a tap from Fohen in February 2021. The head of the tap broke four times over the subsequent four months. Fohen sent a replacement each time and in the final time advised me that they had changed their manufacturing process and the head should not break again. It lasted much longer but did break again one year later. Again they sent a replacement. This broke six months later and they sent another replacement. A few weeks after this the tap itself broke and needed to be replaced. They sent a replacement for free but told me they couldn’t cover labour costs so I ended up £300 out of pocket for the installation of the new tap. Sadly this one broke again within five weeks. I am currently in a dispute with the company, trying to claim damages as installation of another new tap from a different company will cost me another £300 and I will be £600 out of pocket and very inconvenienced as a result of their poor quality product.I expected much better for the price. I would urge anyone considering buying any product from Fohen to consider a more well-established or a cheaper option. These products are definitely not worth the money.

This make of tap is atrocious, the company who makes them are even worse to deal with.
