Unexpectedly Effective — Game-Changer for Grow Tent Temps
I picked these up with one goal: cool down my grow tent. Even though my grow lights have built-in heatsinks, the controllers were still extremely hot to the touch. I had a lightbulb moment and realized that heat was being stored instead of dissipating efficiently, which seemed to be raising the overall tent temperature.The results were surprising. After attaching these heatsinks and aiming small fans directly at the lights (which I had tried before without the heatsinks), the tent temperature dropped by about 3°F producing happy plants. The lights became almost cool to the touch. Lower temps without increased energy cost is money from a production standpoint.They’re a great size, adhered and fit perfectly on my lights, and deliver excellent cooling performance. For the price, the value is unbeatable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get better control over heat.

Using it to cool down a laptop power brick, working well so far. The preapplied adhesive makes it easy to install.

These worked great for fixing a couple of hot spots on a GPU backing plate. The adhesive pads appear to be very strong, I'd recommend determining your placement carefully in advance. These are also perfectly size for VRM cooling solutions.

Effective heat sinks
These heatsinks did a great job cooling a hot mini-power amplifier case. They installed in seconds and made my monoblocks amps barely luke-warm to the touch. Recommended.

Great value, perfect for cooling an NVME SSD external drive
These heatsinks have worked better than I hoped at cooling an external drive.The two heatsinks are well made, very sturdy, no apparent defects, bends, nicks, or blemishes. The top edges of the fan blades are machined smooth. If you stand the heatsink up tall, like an 11 story building, running your finger horizontally across a "floor" will feel smooth. But if you run your finger vertically (up and down like an elevator) it will feel rough, as the corner edges of the fans are not smoothed.Why I wanted a heatsink:I have a 4TB NVME SSD, in an external Thunderbolt 4 drive case. When in use, the drive case could be very warm, hot, even borderline too hot to touch. I worried that the excess heat could potentially reduce the lifespan of the drive or even damage it.I spent a lot of time looking around for different heatsinks and finally chose this one. My reasons:Why I chose this heat sink:• There are 2 heatsinks (2 for 1 pricing compared to others)• The heatsinks come with thermal adhesive already attached. No need to purchase it separately. Just peel off the protective film and stick to your device.• These heatsinks closely match the footprint of my drive case (they are the same length, and nearly as wide)• They tines are tall (which I suspect will help)• I liked the look of the matte black finishThe heatsinks work better than I hoped. My goal was to reduce the heat from 'almost-too-hot-to-touch' to a more acceptable 'hot' or even just 'very warm.' It's far cooler. It's approximately mammal warm or cooler (guesstimate sub ~95F).1 heatsink likely would have been enough. However I used both for good measure.
