The band was nice, doesn't have a date function
The compass didn't work, it was bulky and kept snagging on my uniform. The band was nice, doesn't have a date function, which would be nice. The second hand and the second counter don't keep time at the same rate.

Not Worth The Money
I bought this watch hoping for an aesthetically pleasing way to tell the time, and to have a few "just in case" items at my wrist. Unfortunately, I only got one of those things.The most notable down side to this item (besides the price) is that it has absolutely no methods of adjustment. If you don't have a wrist the size of a border-lining giant, you will not be able to keep it secure. The fire starter barely works, the light on the watch does not make it easier to read the time (in fact, it makes it harder to), the band is made of a nylon, which combined with the loose fit, causes friction on the skin. On top of all that, the watch was shipped without an instruction manual or anything, so you'll have to play trial and error with the watch's features, which are not clear.It, however does look nice, for what it's worth. If you're a pro wrestler with wrist of boulder, don't mind the occasional friction burn, don't care about the "survival" aspects of the watch, have the eyes of an eagle to see the watch in the night, and have the spare money to invest in a cool looking watch that doesn't really do much else, I strongly suggest you look no further. As in stop looking, and go buy a better watch. There are far better ones out there for half the price of this wrist mounted garbage.
