Q: My son is 8 in october, but very tall for his age. He is around 54” but i don’t want the costume too long or too short. would the large size work?

My daughter was 8 when she wore it and Is also very tall for her age. We tried the medium but ended up having to return it for large because it was too tight. Large is long but we just cuffed the bottom and it was fine.

Q: Can the sizes be exsplained

I found that the sizes run small. I got my son the next size up. I am glad I did.

Q: I have a regular size 6 year old what size will fit him?

I would go with the medium. My son can wear a 5/6/7. The small was just a tiny bit short but the large was HUGE. I (at the time) couldn't find a medium so we will use a belt and he can wear it longer.
