Italian curls; will be using indefinitely
I have Botticelli curls and it can be rough sometimes being in the middle of the hair spectrum -- definitely not sea salt wavy but not in need of the super heavy conditioners and treatments. This is the best hair product I've found in a very long time. They do have a version that is NOT low foam, so be careful when ordering. Smells like a dream and my hair/skin do NOT absorb scents easily so that's really saying something...gotten many compliments on this. I use it with the same line curling cream and a little leave-in conditioner (Hawaiian Silky or Miracle 7) and it's soft, not crunchy, has a surprisingly great resistance to frizz for being so soft, and requires very little to be effective so these things last forever. I hope they never discontinue it, omg what will I do

Great hair, some trade-offs
This is the best product for leaving the moisture in my curly hair. However, I have to alternate this shampoo with a dandruff shampoo, because this one doesn’t clean my scalp as well. Also, my husband complains that my hair doesn’t smell good when I use it. There isn’t much of a scent to speak of. He says it smells like I just went camping :-/ I guess that’s my natural oils doing their thing. Regardless, this is the best shampoo I have found for curly hair. I get so many compliments and have so many great hair days! I use this shampoo, the conditioner that goes with it, a $5 cream mousse (best find ever!) and I let it air dry. Gorgeous hair. Now I guess I just need to add some scented oils to it?

Product I received was authentic.
Based on the really bad product image on Amazon, and several reviews I was a little concerned that this could be fake product. But I don't believe it is. My bottle came sealed, and in the picture attached I compared the product I've been buying from Ulta (left) and Amazon's (Right), and concluded based on texture and smell that they're identical. I really like this shampoo. I usually buy it from Ulta but they don't sell this variant in a liter bottle, so here I am. I would say the product is super light weight and won't way down your curls. I usually pair it with the conditioner from the same line. It's not super hydrating, but I will sacrifice super soft hair for a better ringlet. Would recommend.

Good for curly hair with high lights
I bought this product along with the marching conditioner after having high lights put in my hair. When the product says "low foam", it means low foam. However, it does do a good job cleaning your hair without stripping the natural oils and leaving your hair feeling dry. For thick, chin length hair, I only use about a quarter size amount of the shampoo, and scrub it through my hair with lots of water to really clean my hair well. The scent is light and floral, and I really like the product!

Great for controlling frizzy curly hair
I have been buying and trying out just about every product for curly hair and I’ve found it! I love the scent and how moisturized it leaves my hair feeling. I also bought the other products and have seen a huge improvement in my curls and controlling frizziness!

Made my hair dry
Did not help with my curls. I wanted to like it :( I will be trying more from the deva curl line for scalp cleansers.

Used for years with good results
My husband and I both have thick, wavy hair. Mine is course, and his is fine. We both have used this stuff for years. We always regret it if we use hotel shampoo and our hair looks crazy for a week. This stuff keeps waves from frizzing. Dry your hair with a t shirt, too. Terry cloth towels are horrible for curls and waves!!!
