Not bee proof after all.
The first week , not a bee in sight. Then all of the sudden bees were all over it. I couldn't understand. It was not leaking, not in the sun to over heat. I put clear tape over the top portion of the hole and hot glued it around to hold it. The bees were trying to crawl inside. I e-mailed for advice but heard nothing, so just took them both down. I am not too happy with the "bee proofing" part of it.

I like that you can wash this feeder in the dishwasher
I like that you can wash this feeder in the dishwasher. But I also get bees around it. Also, this feeder is easily found on the inter webs for less than eight dollars a piece! Im stunned to see this priced at over $29 for a single feeder! What a shame. Please use discernment when buying.

Sorry - they do attract bees.
Easy to fill and easy to clean but it does attract bees, especially late in the season. Have used these containers for years, and will continue to, but expect bees. Also after several years the red cover does get brittle and need to be replaced.
