My husband is obsessed with mining and gold panning shows so I wanted to surprise him with a little kit he could do at home. This was FANTASTIC for that purpose. Yes, the pan you get is small but honestly, it ended up being a great size to try out and was very easy to manage for a complete beginner. The paydirt it came with had visible pieces of gold and my husband had a great time pulling out the smaller pieces. It's not a ton and we're not getting rich from this but for the experience of getting to pan out paydirt and getting all of the tools needed to do so, this was absolutely perfect and a great value.

I have not yet panned out the dirt it comes with. But I am an experienced gold panner and bought this for a friend so they can learn. I was very pleased with the pan itself and snuffer bottle. Would honestly recommend this to any beginner so learn the skills to pan for gold!

Not much gold in them at all. But.....my 9 year old had fun trying to pan. Ultimately she got bored and I had to finish lol. Pretty decent kit for a beginner for sure.

Love my little pan makes panning the finer classifications easier. Wasnt expecting much since paydirt was so small but found a couple small flakes and 2 pickers to put in vial.
