Uniware Professional Stainless Steel German Style Colander, Silver, Heavy Duty (Set of 3 (3 + 5 + 8 Qt))

I have been looking for a good stainless steel colander for months. I thought this one would be good since it said it was German. Germans are noted for good stainless steel. However, this one was made in India. The first time I washed it, It rusted. Now I am going to use it for an outside planter. My search is still on for a good colander. I hope there is one out there somewhere.

8 qt. arrived. Well- made, good looking pasta strainer (if they can be good looking)! I was donating an "italian" basket for a silent auction and wanted to use a different base instead of a basket. Considered a big pasta bowl, but that was too costly. This was a great size, good price and really did the trick. It was a beautiful presentation containing many italian delights. I really wanted to keep the strainer for myself, so I bought raffle tickets in the hope that I would win it!!! No such luck!! However, I am considering ordering another one to keep for myself. Highly recommend.

We've owned this for a little over a month and...This is the first ever stainless steel kitchen tool that I have purchased and is exhibiting rust. VERY disappointing. Would not recommend for purchase.

Doesn't look long lasting, but I love the size. Just because of that, I would be willing to buy another one once this one starts rusting. If it proves me wrong, I'll be sure to update.

Love this extra large colander. I have a family of 9 to cook for, and this beautiful and durable product has made my life easier. It is easy to clean and can drain three boxes of pasta easily.

I really like these strainers and I got the set of 3. I wanted something to replace my plastic and I really like them. They seem to be sturdy. The sizes are nice for small to large batches one would need to drain.

Great quality , looks in way fancy . Might be a tad on the small side, but we wanted one that was tall enough to let romaine lettuce dry. Anyway would definitely recommend it.

Really nice and large. No worries about hot liquid going thru pastic, so this is much healthier. Looks great with all the stainless steel that's in everyone's kitchens. Very happy with this purchase.
