I bought this system a year ago. It worked great all summer. We have a 15' x 48" above ground pool and may be a bit too large for this pump/filter system, but it worked and ran great.This spring when beginning to open the pool, we found a crack in the pump housing. My fault for not taking it inside. I did drain everything and left the drain plugs loose, but.....when I contacted the company, the customer service folks were awesome. They knew exactly what I needed, sent me the item # to reference, gave me a great price that included s/h and sent me a brand new total replacement!! Not just the broken part I needed to replace it. The part came 2 full days before it was scheduled. No extra charges.I highly recommend this company for quality products, great pricing, great packaging, fast shipments and fantastic customer service. And if you're wondering, no I have not been compensated for this glowing review!! Finding a vendor that is honest, goes over backwards to help, etc. is, imho, worth the review.

Perfect for my 16ft bestway aboveground pool. Suction was great. Pool noticeably cleaner within hours. Does not have a timer. No on/off switch, just plug/unplug. I did have to buy a pair of intex type B hose adapters. The directions to put the filter together was horrible. There is a good video. Well worth the price.

Great product easy to setup and install works great.

The directions are not clear with either assembly or hookup. Video is not on Amazon to show how to assemble either. After watching several other videos on YouTube for other sand filters was able to figure it out. Takes a lot of work to get it to run without leaks. Runs smoothly and works well once you spend a day figuring it all out. Price and product great. Probably could do in an hour if there was an assembly and hookup video for this product.

Works like a charm! Great flow and suction. Doesn’t require as much sand as I thought it would and the filter has been running non stop since the day we hooked the pump up. Only wish there was a power switch. To turn the filter off you will need to unplug the pump. Shipping was faster than expected and great quality for the money. I would buy this again.

So I’ve had this filter running on my above ground 14’ pool for going on 3 months. I don’t like to right reviews quick because I didn’t have a chance to use the item. So from the beginning when I installed this pump I felt the inlet and outlet suction was horrible!!! This machine suction is not heavy / fast flowing at all!!! It does not suck the water througb the filter at a good heavy speed. The the outlet flow is very very light. It so light that it does not move the debris on the bottom of the pool. I would brush the pool to get the debris at the bottom sucked into the inlet but because it’s not strong enough, it settles back to the bottom. If I’m the only one swimming in the pool, the filter or the chemicals works because the water stays clear before and after a swim. When I add more than two people in the pool, my water gets very muggy because the filter is not strong enough to circulate the water. I’m very disappointed because we are at peak season & I have to wait about two days after backwashing and adding more chemicals and fresh water before swimming again. Need to check the warranty on my purchase, maybe I received a defective pump. Will update once I get a response from customer service. It’s only a 14’x10 pool, it should have a better turn around filtering the water. I might have to go back to the stock filter until I can purchase maybe a bigger one or a saltwater system.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this pump last summer in July right from the start i had issues with it leaking. I reached out to the seller & tried to send a video and pictures I stated how it wouldn’t let me send a video through Amazon because it said my video was too large. My pool was green more times than not & I had to drain it to restart because the filter wasn’t working I pulled it out this summer to try again I had many people come and try to figure it out & nothing it still leaks the sellers solution was for me to buy another one from them. HECK NO! That’s horrible customer service I spent 170$ it hasn’t worked since I took it out of the box & it’s not even a year old!
