50th Anniversary Butter Mints say the expiration date is 10-23. We don't need them until 11-25. Is the date still good?

They may be fine, but the texture of the mints may change. I would order them closer to the party date.

Do these mints have any traces of nuts (either in the ingredients or through exposure during processing)?

I do not believe so. My husband is allergic to nuts so we follow these things!
