If you think..you need higher kv for whatever your rc poison is.. get a castle of equal power, and see exactly how much you been missing. I purchased the copperhead 1406 package with the 4600kv motor. Way more than enough for my drift rc. I haven't even begun to tune it yet. Customer service via there msngr. Amazing!!! Instant response and knew exactly how to fix it. My own user fault not product in any way. Buy castle period. I'll never use any other motors and escs

Holy mother of god.....
What a beastly setup. I put this (4600kv) motor and esc in a 2wd short course truck and GOOD LORD does it scream. I have all of the timing and punch set near the low end, and this thing is frightening. Once I put grippy tires on this, the nose is not gonna stay down. This thing is stronger than any 540-sized motor I have tried by a WIDE margin, and I have been a racer for a long while, as well as a basher. This thing is nutty. My kid named the truck "hacker the savage" because he "looks like he has speed hacks and is totally savage"Love it!

An elite upgrade from my stock 3300kv motor!Now all my competitors literally eat my dust! Highly recommended if your pockets can support the price

Very powerful motor for a 1/10 scale rc.
Was very pleasantly surprised at the system after installation. More than a handful and requires deliberate restraint to operate at 3s.

Not reliable
Well it was fast, really fast, I had a castle double fan on the motor. Motor overheated and took a crap first time out. Pitched it in the trash where it belongs. A hole lot of money to spend for 30 minutes. I'll stick with Hobbywing, Holmes and Spectrum I guess. At least they have lasted. Side note I do like the esc, but motor is crap.

Wicked for a boat too
I have a proboat, stealthwake 23 that I've modified. It is currently running a castle 7700kv motor. I decided to replace the sidewinder 3 I was using, with this ESC. The only difference I see is that it runs ALOT cooler. My sidewinder would go into thermal shut down on 3s after a few hard runs. Not this ESC. definitely better than a SW3. I haven't tried it in any of my trucks or cars yet, but I'm sure it will be impressive.

Mean little set-up.
This system was easy to set up and get going. I bought it for my Vanquish Phoenix kit build. I must say, it is quite powerful. I got the 2800kv "slate" motor in the combo, too. Plenty of power for my crawler. As a matter of fact, it's a damn good thing I installed the slipper clutch instead of the slipper delete pieces also included in the Phoenix kit. Otherwise, I'd be buying new axles or something. VERY powerful system.
