YOUR CAT NEEDS THESE
I wish I had taken a “before” picture of my 15 year old man. I bought this to help with the amount of hair balls he was throwing up. I didn’t expect it to completely revive and bring my cat back to kitten days!!! After 2.5 weeks of eating 2 chews every day my cat came home (he’s indoor/outdoor) and I legitimately asked my husband if it looked like someone took him to be groomed. ALL of his mats came out and his fur is soft and fluffy again!!!! Hes even hanging out around us more and playing with toys which he hasn’t done in quite some time. He’s a new man and I can’t thank these treats enough. They are AMAZING! Oh and no hair balls since using them! Definitely beyond value for the money!!!

Bad batch, Cats usually like
Not sure if it is expired or just a bad batch, Cats usually love this, these they wouldn't touch. didn't open in time for return, as had others I used first. These didn't smell as much and were way harder than any other of the same product I got from other sources. can't find an expiration date but that I suspect is the problem. I may find another source, before I buy from this vendor again. both packages had the same lot number. I am very disappointed. I sent message to vendor but received no response.

Fantastic!
It worked right away. My Smudge is doing great. No UTI or issues since then.

okay for now but they are not "soft"
I've tried giving my cat several hairball remedies. So far this is the only one she will actually eat, so the flavor must be okay. Seems to help since she's barfing up fewer hairballs, but I'm also making it a point to comb her every night so that may be helping too. She is a long-haired kitty. The downside is these things are HARD. My cat couldn't handle one whole, so I tried breaking it in two smaller pieces but she still had trouble with it and would leave the pieces in the bowl. She's not an old cat with bad teeth either. It works best to crumble them or break them into very small pieces and then she'll eat them along with her food, but they're so hard that doing that actually hurts the tips of my fingers. I'll keep buying them for now, but I'll keep looking for one that she likes AND isn't almost rock hard.

my cat didn’t like it
Unfortunately my cat did not like these, not the company’s fault but I have a picky cat. Have to get a different brand.

Thanks to our wonderful vet, we got her on a dry kibble ...
Our kitty who will be 17 in a couple weeks did not throw up hairballs, but developed kidney issues about 14 months ago. She is a short hair Siamese/Tonkinese mix. Thanks to our wonderful vet, we got her on a dry kibble kidney diet from Hill's Science and a wet food called HI TOR NEO DIET I found on Amazon after much research. I buy this from Amazon by the case (24 cans). This saved her life, and she has gained back the 3+ pounds she lost. In order to promote better stools, and keep things moving along, I've been giving her this VS Labs or Vermont Naturals Hairballs (these companies are connected and based in Vermont) in her wet food, rather than use the 'stuff you smear on the paw'. Her fur is just beautiful and she is a very happy kitty. When I first gave her a couple little fish-shaped chewy per the directions, she munched them right down. The next time she just turned up her nose and walked away, so now I cut up two every morning with a sharp paring knife and mix into her 1/4 can of wet food. The people in customer service at Vermont Naturals are super nice and helpful and sent me 3 packs of VN by UPS totally free. I learned that VN has just a tiny bit more moisture than VS Labs. Sorry this review is about several items....

Treats
My sweet Kiki thinks these are treats, so she actually begs for them. I have not seen a hairball since a couple of weeks after she started on these. I think we are both happy with this product.

Doesn't help if neither cat wants to eat these!
These must taste super funky for neither cat to enjoy the taste or texture, I don't know the reason. All I know is I should have bought it on Chewy Because this was our first time trying these, and Chewy would have accomodated for the cats' rejection. Amazon is not generous, they don't accept any returns or credit any product your pet won't eat, while Chewy does. Go Chewy!
