This product is not fit for purpose. Our hamster chewed his way out of the cage, and was missing for over three weeks. The cage lasted all of 5 minutes. I will be pursuing a refund as it was not fit for purpose and caused weeks of stress trying to find the hamster. We are fortunate to get him back.

Firstly, excuse the mess in the image, it is all the hammy care things that I haven’t found a home for yet!It’s important to read the reviews and product description. This is NOT suitable as a stand alone home and shouldn’t be purchased with that in mind as it isn’t large. Furthermore, I have two Robo hamsters, and can’t imagine this being suitable for a larger breed like a Syrian at all unless connected to a lot more… that being said, it works brilliantly as part of a larger, connected system and the tubes fit other branded tubes too!It was super easy to set up, and if you read the product description it shouldn’t be a surprise that it is this size. Most of the reviews are outraged cries for larger enclosures, which is not the manufacturers fault as they state the dimensions. Also there were reviews about the quality, but trust me when I say this is completely escape/bite proof with Robos, maybe due to their size!At first I was concerned about some of the gaps in the enclosure, the bars on the top are narrow but on the side of the enclosure and in the space by the sides of the wheel there are a few gaps… these wouldn’t be a problem for a Syrian owner, but I was super worried when it came to my Robos, that they’d escape…. Thankfully for me, this product has been Robo approved by my little pals who will escape any gap big enough, but couldn’t make it through these! The only thing I might add is that smaller hamsters can’t move the wheel, it’s too big, but if you have another wheel somewhere you’ll be fine!

Bought for our 10yr old son. We supervised as he constructed it himself. Easily assembled, easy to clean and as hamster enclosures go, it’s bright and colourful in his bedroom. We’ve bought this brand before so we bought it again as we were pleased with it for our daughter 10yrs ago.

Relatively easy to put together but quality isn't great. Cracks appeared in the plastic casing and the wheel after only a few days after purchase. Hamster has also chewed away plastic covering that connects metal mouthpiece to water bottle.The extension compartment with the wheel in isn't the easiest thing to clean either. As quality isn't great, always conscious of causing more damage when dismantling to clean. Is secure and little one hasn't found any ways to escape yet but don't think quality is the best. Wheel is quiet at least. Wouldn't purchase again but will suffice until can justify forking out for anything better!

Was expecting a new and clean product. These marks don’t wash off or wipe off. For £40 I was expecting far better! I at least expecting a clean product that didn’t look used. Easy enough to assemble just in bad condition. Not worth £40. Unfortunately I don’t have time to return it as my son’s hamster is on a bid to keep escaping from his current quarters.
