A-Line Silhouette Slip Style ALINESLIP

Very nice A-line bridal/bridesmaid slip with just the right amount of netting at the bottom to support the hem of your dress. It's well made, and the waistline is very comfortable. It fits smoothly through the waist and hips without being at all tight or clingy. It's definitely an A-line cut, so it doesn't fit like a mermaid. The sizing on this slip is generous. I bought a large and, as it turns out, probably would have been fine with a medium. However, it fits well enough that I am keeping it. It runs a bit long, too, but that is great for anyone who needs extra length and it would allow for higher heels. To give you an idea of size, for someone who is 5' 7" in height and normally wears a 12-14, it's about 2 inches longer than expected, but I folded the waist over 2 inches at the top and am wearing 2.5-inch heels. Even with folding over the waist, it still lies smooth under my bridesmaid's dress. Despite the sizing being a little bigger than expected, the quality and design of the slip is so nice I'm giving it five stars.

I ordered a small when I'm normally a medium (size 8-10 in normal pants sizes) going off of the recommendations that this comes big. It fits fine and will really help making my wedding dress a little poofier so it doesn't get stuck between my legs when walking.

I like this slip/petticoat a lot because it doesn't have hoops but has a lot of volume. Works great with my wedding dress. Also it's easy to travel around with because it's easy to compress and then "tease" back to full size.I am 5'4" and had to have this shortened by about an inch - easy to do just by folding the fabric and stitching it.

I ordered the size M and it fit a little too big. I usually wear a size large in other clothing.

I ordered XS because I'm normally size 2 but this looks like XL .... too big and large.
