Very Cute Kids Camera
This is a very cute kids camera! My toddler is able to navigate through the screens and take video and pictures with ease. It is quite durable- she has dropped it a few times and it is still working. The screen is scratched now but that’s to be expected. The size is a normal camera size but the buttons on the screen are large which is appreciated for small hands. This would make a great gift for a child. My only complaint is the screen color/quality of the pictures on the screen- it could be better in my opinion but it’s not too bad.

new favorite "toy"
My daughter has not set this down since opening it! It's been amazing to watch her interact with it and find "beautiful things" to take pictures of. We have only had it for about a week, but it seems to be quite durable, as it's been dropped a couple of times already. The touch screen is super easy for her to navigate and the camera itself is so cute. The pictures are decent quality in general, but I think great quality for kids camera!

2yr old friendly
Good size for a 2 year old, and easy to use. Only con I noticed is the touch screen. Makes it difficult for small hands when pressing the shutter and holding properly. The thumb makes the touch screen navigate at unnecessary times. A touch screen lock would be helpful in my opinion. Decent quality photos for a kids camera as shown in the photos above. Seems like a cell phone quality sensor instead of camera sensor which adds a lot of grain, and has a hard time focusing in low light. Not the fastest shutter, but good for a child to learn with.

Perfect Camera for Kids
The media could not be loaded. My daughter is obsessed with her Kidamento Camera. The camera is perfect for her little hands, durable, and takes quality pictures and videos. I love how the lanyard doubles as a charging cord. My daughter especially enjoys all the stickers, filters, and frames that allows her to explore her creativity. This is a great first camera for kids and a must buy!

My kids are OBSESSED! Best kid camera ever!
My kids LOVE this camera. First, the size of the screen is awesome for little hands. It is big and the images are clear. It is also a touch screen making it extremely easy for screen-savvy kids to use right out of the box! The button to click photos is big and the camera makes a satisfying "clicking" sound each time a pic is snapped. Second, the camera has all kinds of cool features that my kids love to experiment with. It has a selfie mode, timer, and takes both photos and videos. The camera has an adorable design with a high-grade silicone casing which means it is both attractive and well protected. It also appears to have a long battery life. It has lasted several days on one charge! It automatically shuts off after a few minutes so that could be why. My favorite part, you ask? The lanyard doubles as a USB cord for transferring images to the computer! Genius. I think I need to try the Polaroid version next. If only to stop the constant fighting over who gets to use it.

Wanted to love this camera, but it falls short of expectations.
The app does not work, so loading pictures onto a phone/tablet/computer isn’t possible without a MicroSD reader. The battery on ours does not last; it takes several hours to charge and only holds enough juice for a few pictures and a short video (for my kiddo, that’s about 15 minutes worth). The photo quality is OK, but I wasn’t expecting the same quality lens as more expensive digital cameras, so that wasn’t a deal breaker. Overall, I’m sorry I chose this one and would recommend putting your money towards a more quality starter camera.

Great toy, terrible camera
First up, my kid (four-years-old) adores this camera. She loves being able to take pictures and videos without borrowing (or stealing) mama's phone. It's easy to use and seems to be pretty durable. The image quality is pretty awful, but that's almost charming and gives the pictures/videos she takes a bit of a nostalgic Polaroid/camcorder feel with #nofilter required. The only complaint I have from a kid perspective is that the touch screen is a cheap haptic screen and not a capacitive touch screen (like what you have on your phone). That means that it takes force to register a command, which is great in some ways but also means that it's harder for your kid to get it to do what they want, and it's prone to getting mis-calibrated (registering a touch somewhere other than where you actually touched it, and thus getting no response -- or the wrong one >_<)The bigger problem is that my kid doesn't want to just take a bunch of pictures and then delete them. She wants to keep her poorly-compressed, 5 minute long video of herself just walking around the house and occasionally screaming for the rest of time -- praises that the camera automatically shuts off after five minutes of "inactivity", even if it's recording, by the way. This is problematic for two reasons. First, as stated above, the compression is terrible. That five minute video, despite the low image quality, takes up about a gigabyte of space. You can fill up a camera pretty fast that way. Second, the charger/transfer cable that comes with the camera is incredibly slow. It may look like a USB-C port on the camera side, but it does not operate at that speed. Just trying to watch video directly off the camera with it plugged in resulted in long load times, lag, and video running slower than the audio. My response was to say, "okay, I'll just copy everything to my computer and sort through it there". Copying over the 32 GB card took ~8 hours on a 2022 MacBook Pro.Long story short: if your kid wants to treat this like an actual camera and save their "special memories", I hope you've got a computer with an SD card reader and some solid backup options. Otherwise, prepare to have some tough conversations about scarcity.

Highly Recommend!
The Kidamento camera is a game-changer for my 3 and 7-year-old! It’s super easy to use—my kids figured it out in minutes. They love the selfie mode and making fun videos, and I’m impressed by the sturdy design that stands up to everyday kid life. Plus, the charger built right into the lanyard means no lost cables! It’s the perfect camera for little photographers, keeping them entertained while capturing memories. Highly recommend!
