MBJ Womens Open Front Draped Knit Shawl Cardigan

BUYER BEWARE - very unhappy w/ this purchase. This sweater took over a month to arrive and it doesn't look anything like the pictures. In fact, it's a completely different style. It doesn't hang at the hips with a squared bottom as the pictures would lead you to believe. The bottom is rounded so it creates this ballooning effect right at the hips, which is the exact opposite of what I was looking for. The collar needs to be folded over at the neck, but it doesn't stay that way. Overall this sweater is awkward and frumpy. I try it on with outfits all the time because I don't mind the fit of the sleeves and I love the grey/tan color, but I never end up wearing it out of the house. Maybe a naturally thin person might appreciate that it adds some volume, but that's not me. From reading other reviews, this product is hit or miss. You might get some random sweater that's nothing like the pictures.

Super soft cardigan, but it runs too big for me. I am 5 ft 7 in, 125 lbs and the small was swimming on me, just looked way to frumpy. I wish I could've exchanged for a smaller size because this would've been my go to sweater, unfortunately for me, small is the smallest size. Hope this helps someone else though!

I bought this in magenta for my grandmother. Because she has type II diabetes, she is often cold. Pink is her favorite color, so I debated against a soft pink and a bright one. Either way, she really enjoyed it. She's 4'9, so I was worried the sleeves would be too long, but they seem to fit her fine.

Awful. Wore this only 2 times and the sleeve started to unravel while I was at work... I'm really upset bc it's so comfy and cozy! I will be returning this unfortunately :(

I accidently bought two of these and thought I loved it so much I gave one to a friend. However, now I sorely regret having to leave a bad review on this sweater because it is as soft as cashmere, and it feels so good I want to never take it off. but the slightest things pick it and pull the delicate threads. I poke the loops back through but the look of the sweater is still ruined. It still feels fabulous but looks like a rag. I sleep in it but that's all.

I ordered 3 of these cardigans. I received this one today and the other 2 are on their way. When opening, I immediately noticed the tag right away! It was not MBJ brand! Instead it is some “”Cielo” brand?? I’m wondering if the wrong tag was accidentally sewn into a MBJ item? This is not what I ordered...But, oddly enough the actual cardigan is exactly as shown in the picture and the package/sticker said MBJ. So, aside from the branding confusion, it is super soft!!! I’m definitely glad I ordered a size larger because it is certainly snug. I hope the 2 other cardigans I receive are identical to this one, because it is very nice.Update. I received the 2 other cardigans and they were legit MBJ brand. Although the navy Cielo brand was similar, it fit a little boxier and just not as comfy as the MBJ brand, so I returned it.

I thought, surely there would be no way this cardigan would come in a color to rival the one displayed on Amazon. Wrong! =D The color of this material -- and OMG, the material!! -- is so beautiful, I don't really have words to describe it. Hopefully the picture will suffice (which, too, is no comparison for how pretty it is). Back to the material, though! It's so soft, and somewhere between a light-medium weight. That makes it perfect for hot summer nights, and also warm enough for when the summer gets a slight chill.The shape of the cardigan is as pictured (and described). So often, designers are tapering the material either in back or in front, these days, to mix up the look. I'm THRILLED to say, though, that this is one hasn't fallen prey! There's no ruching on the sides, no tapering, or flaring! It's just a symmetrical cut. Thanks for that! =DWhat broke my heart about this sweater is the fact that it had not only a run in it (see image where cardigan faces the camera), but it also has a defect on the sleeve (see image of the sleeve, heh! =D). The defect is strange, because it's just like white thread sewn over a bunch of times or a white threaded background. Like I said, weird, and there's no real fix for it.I could have sent the cardigan back, I suppose, but for all the cost in time and trouble, it just wasn't worth it.. I'm happy to have it in my collection, even with a flaw or two, and I'm looking forward to all those semi-chilly nights, Texas football, and me snuggled down in my super soft, super awesome new cardigan. <3

I mistakenly thought this sweater had a fold over around the neck and down the front. It did not and that single layer was all stretched out of shape from the shipping folds. Color was great but even though I have a slim build, the sleeves were too tight to wear any garment with sleeves underneath. good weight to wear with a tank or sleeveless top in cool weather. Since I am an hours drive from any UPS Store, I will probably have to end up keeping this top even though I will never wear it. Rural folks like myself, have a difficult time returning anything since returns can only be made thru The UPS Stores, not thru a local store that has UPS pickup. Return labels won't work at PU locations.

I ordered a 3XL and I can't even find a medium size friend that it would fit!!!! Way too small. I was going to return it but I have to pay for shipping. Terrible and very dissapointed.
