A Must for DIY Oil Changers
I do the oil changes on all three of my automobiles, because I want the job to be done correctly, and I can use the type of oil that has proven to perform best in my autos. Short story, I took my BMW to the local Meineke for an oil change. I paid for their premium package, which included synthetic oil and their best filter. Six month later, I took it to another full service auto mechanic for an oil change. The technician told me that the paper oil filter had collapsed in the housing, and it looked like it had not been changed for quite a while. It turns out the Meineke shop had not actually changed the filter, because they could not get the filter housing opened, so they placed the paper filter in my trunk. Yes, I got the filter I paid for, but not in the place where it should have been. From that point on, I started changing the oil myself.So what does that story have to do with these window stickers? Here's another story, but shorter than the last. I took the same BMW in for an inspection, and there was actually a checklist item on the inspection sheet that required the technician to look for an oil change service sticker. Fortunately, I had one of these stickers on the window.I use a fine-tip marker to write on these stickers, and it holds up well even after several months of direct sunlight. I have not had an issue with these stickers peeling off either. If you clean the glass before installation, you should not have a problem with it coming off.

Great Price & Size
Got these oil change stickers to use on my POV's where I change the oil myself. Got tired of writing the oil change date on the box top of new oil filter and tossing info into the glovebox and promply forgetting when I changed the oil.Never again. It'll look like a professional oil change now when one looks up in the driver's windshield area and sees the sticker.
