The lipstick to let me wear saturated colors and feel good about it.
Given that basically all of the colors these lipsticks are offered in seemed to be somewhat saturated gem tone colors, I was a bit nervous to order them. But since they A} are reported as long wearing and phenomenally moisturizing, and B} seem so irresistibly pretty, I figured I would chance it.1} They really are so very pretty. The sticks are clear, containing gold flaked and a flower, but faintly colored reflective of the flower inside. The shiny red packaging (tube) is very solidly made & has a handy mirror along one side of it which is protected by a piece of vinyl sheeting during shipping to prevent scratches. To open the tube, you press a button at one end which causes the product to spring out the other end (this is fun). The lipsticks themselves are slightly smaller than your average lipstick, so if this is important to you, I encourage you to find the best price you can to compensate: For me I don't mind, because I got a great price, & the way I use lipstick I might not get through full sized sticks before goodness knows what happens to them anyway.2}The lipsticks themselves are lightly perfumed, as advertised. Being lightly perfumed they also (as some other reviewers have complained bitterly) have a faint perfumie taste that is reflective of the scent if you happen to lick your lips: Which since you are wearing something meant to keep them moisturized, you should have no reason to do. That said, most of us probably/possibly get accidental lipstick ingestion occasionally from coffee cups/drinking straws/general food consumption, and I did not notice this lipstick making any greater or lesser taste impression on these activities than anything else.3}The Color:::For starters, I am not much of a makeup person, and when I do utilize cosmetics tend not to go in much for saturated, unnatural looking colors; I have a lot of trouble getting used to the look of them, and cannot generally shake the theatrical feel of them. These lipsticks go on in a thin natural looking layer, and the color develops over a couple minutes like an indescribably lovely tint that give an excellent impression of coming of as somehow natural, even though the color is anything but.I hesitate to give detailed descriptions of the development of the different colors because due to the nature of the product, they should be somewhat different for everyone reflective of individual body temperature & the flesh tone that tempers the developed color from beneath. However I will say that the Minutemaid Color (which one might suppose to be meant to be a more natural color due to the amber sticker color/name) does develop to a nice rosey pink. These are just so lovely to use. For the first time I can use lipsticks with saturated gemstones, and not feel like I'm all painted up for a chorus line with some too thick feeling layer of pigment saturated solid oils mushed onto my face.

Great Gifts
My family and friends have been using these for a year now and we love them. The smell is great, and they’re gorgeous in the tube. I want to clear something up because some people in the reviews were disappointed about what they got. They’re all one color because they’re pH changing lipsticks. If you know what litmus paper is, it’s the same science. In the tube, the dyes are colorless (that’s why they’re clear). They’re weak acids. Your lips have a higher pH than the lipstick, so when they’re applied, they trigger a chemical reaction that allows the acids to convert to a strongly colored compound. That’s when you get the color. If you want a more intense color, run the lipstick over your lips with a few passes. It’s a subtle but pretty color pink. Some other reviews have pictures. Although they all produce the same color, they’re going to have a different look on everyone. My lips have a naturally pale almost nude color. I have almost zero pink to my lips, so it’s a bit of a more intense pink on me than it is on someone who has darker lips. It’s more subtle and gives a more natural look on my other friends and family that have darker lips. When first applied, it feels very moisturizing, but you’ll have to continue to apply throughout the day to continue to have that feeling, as you do with every lip product. It doesn’t dry your lips out, though. To combat this, I just apply Vaseline over top and it stays moisturized for a few hours. It smells delicious, and if it transfers, it’s not very noticeable. It’s like a subtle lip stain. The color lasts pretty much all day, but you may have to reapply a couple of times if you want to maintain the original vibrancy. And it’s gorgeous in the tube! These are great stocking stuffers, party favors for little girls, and just a gift for any occasion! I recommend these! My friends continue to tell me that it’s their favorite grab and go natural lipstick. You can also dab it on your cheeks for some extra color in a pinch. I hope this cleared up some confusion from other reviews!

Second time ordering for my mom
My mom loves these lipsticks. She just asked me to order 2 more packs so she can give them to friends at work. They add great color to lips without being a heavy lipstick. The color is natural to each individual wearer, and I find the the shade is natural enough for everyday office wear, but also bold enough for a night out as well. The only gripe I have is that it is not a long lasting moisturizer. May 20-30 minutes after putting on the gloss, you will have to add some type of chapstick or lip balm. On the plus side, while the moisturizer doesn't last, the color will for the entire day.

Taste weird, makes my lips dry
Packaging and how each lipbalm looks are nice! Downfall is that it somewhat moisturizes my lips for a little bit then makes it really dry so i have to put blistex medicated balm then the kailijumei balm just for the color. Pigmentation don't last that long and specially when u eat or drink watter...over all 3 for me...since it does taste weird after u apply it...smells great though ;)
