GENUINELY Unscented & keeps my hair fresh !Sweaty scalp-havers unite!
I love this stuff! I have medium-thickness blonde hair with darker roots. I color it with Olaplex, so I don't wash it every day and have to be careful about the products I use. I'm also extremely sensitive to most scented products (I get rashes, headaches, sensory overload, etc.), and am ever disappointed by the lack of ACTUALLY TRULY unscented beauty products.Fortunately, this stuff is the real deal, and it works perfectly! Especially in the warmer months, my scalp gets pretty sweaty whenever I'm outside (and I'm outside a lot), and it makes me feel greasy and gross, even if I've just washed my hair. Once I'm back inside, cooled off, and my scalp and hair are dry, I apply the powder and my hair feels so much better.I apply it by standing over the tub, bending forward (so I can see my knees), and flipping my hair upside down. I shake a little bit of powder into my hand, put the container down, gently rub my hands together, and work the powder through a section of my hair (I usually apply it in a total of 4-5 sections). I generally start at or near the roots by working it in with my fingers and then "comb" it through the rest of the hair with my fingers. (Obv I repeat this with the rest of my hair.) When I'm done, I close the bottle and briefly flip it over the tub to ensure there's no powder on the outside. I then flip my hair back up, lightly run my fingers through my hair, and use a wide tooth comb to finish up and straighten my part.I've been using this for about 5 months now and am quite happy with it. I tend to use it 3 or 4 times a week (I wash my hair every 3 days), typically when I wake up with bedhead, feel greasy/sweaty from physical activity, or just need something to liven my hair up (especially when it's due for a wash). The powder is very fine so it does it's job without leaving any trace, even on dark roots and thick hair. I highly suggest applying it BEFORE you do your makeup, get dressed, etc. I'd also suggest rinsing your hands and giving your face/neck/shoulders a quick wipe down with a damp cloth after applying it to get rid of any excess. Lastly, I'd also definitely recommend just buying the larger size bottle of this stuff (It's like $28 but it's worth it, trust me), simply because its a better deal. Plus, this size bottle of powder is made of paper and cardboard that's a lot more sensitive to moisture (like picking it up with a wet hand); the larger size is more durable.

Lovely product but not for dark hair (see update at bottom)
Beautiful artwork and packaging, smells lovely, did help with oiliness, and I appreciate the natural ingredients… but it just didn’t work for my dark hair; it left a white tint, which to be fair I half expected since it’s white powder. If they made a dark tint (maybe with activated charcoal or some other natural ingredient), I would love it.*UPDATE* I added some activated charcoal powder to the container (it was easy to take apart and reassemble), and it works beautifully! The formula really is great, I’m on day 3 and just applied it, and it looks like it’s freshly washed. Absorbed the oil, gave my hair volume, and doesn’t give it a weird texture or anything. I wish they made a dark formula but I like it so much I don’t mind adding the charcoal to change the tint myself. I’ll keep purchasing.

Love this!
I love this dry shampoo! I have a lot of fine, dark blond hair with some grey. After the second day of not washing my hair, my roots get oily. I have used a few dry shampoos but wanted to try this based on the ingredients and scent options. I followed the directions (putting a small amount on my hands, rubbing them together, and then rubbing my hands through my roots) and the results were fantastic...looked clean and fluffy with no oily roots or powdery residue. I do think the sample bottle is small, but it will last for quite awhile and it gives me the option to explore different scents before committing to a larger bottle. As for scent, I purchased the patchouli and amber. The scent is initially present and slowly fades throughout the day. I think it is pleasant (smells of light patchouli) and not overbearing. I like it a lot and would recommend trying it to anyone who is interested.

Smell awesome, hard to get the hang of for dry shampoo
These didn't really work for me as a dry shampoo. They were a little clumpy. I will probably keep trying because I want them to work so I can stop using aerosol. The scents were really great though.

the smell is weird, would not recommend
I've been using aerosol dry shampoo for years. When I read the reviews for this I thought I would give it a try since its smaller, more portable, and from what I read, did a better job than aerosol version. I was expecting a fresh scent of jasmine with this product. It really just smells like heavy clay with some scent added in. it made my hair smell like 'dirty jasmine'. Not a fan at all. My dirty hair smelled better before the dry 'shampoo'. As far as how it makes my hair feel, i had to put a bunch of it in to see any results, and it made my hair feel heavy and gritty. that gritty feel stayed in until i could wash it out the next day. Really did not like this product.

Yes, this container IS comically small. But this stuff REALLY works!
Because the powder is very dense, it doesn't take much to reach the weight of the package. But the package size makes it great for travel, and the product itself is terrific. It's the best dry shampoo I have found. It doesn't launch a bunch of powder in the air for me to breathe in. It applies very well with a cheap little makeup brush directly where it needs to go, so you don't waste much at all. After trying the travel size, I purchased the full size. It is expensive, but compared to the nasty smelling powder that gets sprayed all over my bathroom, I think it's the better deal.
