Secure fit. High quality. Old key fits in it, too. 2016 Scion iA
Strong plastic, exact match for 2016 Toyota/Scion iA (which is a facelifted Mazda 2). The case is difficult to pry apart so take care not to pry too hard in one place. Once you swap in the circuit board from your old remote it closes securely - so being a little difficult to open makes it worth it. The OEM key is an exact fit so I just put this blank key in the drawer for future use and slid my old key right into the fob. No programming needed because you are reusing your already programmed electronics. The circuit board fits securely on the inside and the buttons line up exactly. No brand or logo on it. Otherwise it's functionally and visibly identical.

Works on 2017 Yaris iA
My shell broke awhile ago but continued to deteriorate until I had to take the whole cover off and use the motherboard to open it. Was bummed thinking I had to spend 250 on a new one but this FITSSSSS!! So excited! If you have a 2017 yaris ia grab it!!

Cheap but Very Durable, Great Replacement
This was so great for a replacement for my son, I just switched his mother board to the new device less than $15, replaced his battery $8, got the key cut for $5, and now he had a new key for his Mazda, he was so happy!!! Dealer wanted over $200 to replace it!!! Highly recommend this route!!! Product is very durable!!!

Good value with a couple limitations
Am prepping to sell my daughter's 2014 Mazda 6 and wanted to replace a fob she had dropped and broke up. Fortunately, the fob still worked so a transplant into a new fob shell was feasible. Most of the surgery went well and was able use the old mechanical key holder in the new fob too. However, the holder was a bit beat up and wanted to use the new one. This is where I discovered some limitations...Thought this would be simple as there is a screw connecting the key to the holder, but for whatever reason the new metal part and the plastic part were molded differently, so could not simply attach the new metal part to the key. Since wanted a complete fob decided to get the key cut. If you need to do, find a locksmith as the major hardware stores could not do.Another note is that the new key holder plastic part was slightly wider and will not fit into the old fob. Would only matter in the unlikely event you bought this kit to hoping to use the key blank with an old fob. If you are handy, could be shaved down but was surprised as this is otherwise a decent clone of the Mazda fob (without the logo).

FITS 2017 Toyota YARIS ia
My FOB had been on the brink of death for awhile. Finally ordered this product and give it a 10/10. My motherboard inside the FOB was still working so I just inserted that into this new FOB and transferred the already working battery & it works flawlessly. Would recommend YouTubing how to switch things out but I had no idea what I was doing and it was pretty straightforward if you look at the layout prior to switching.

Fit and finish is lacking
I have a cracked back panel on my original remote, I bought this to hopefully replace the damaged back plate. Does not fit snug on my remote or even the remote it came with. Glad I didn't try to replace all the guts from my OE remote to the new one then realize it's lower quality. But for 12$ I had to try. Most other places are charging 100$ for OE remotes. 100$ for a snug fitting back isn't worth it

Inexpensive replacement
I’ve had this replacement key fob shell for several months, and I have not had any problems with it. It’s very inexpensive compared to what it would cost to get a new key fob at the dealership.
