Purchased this candle on Prime Day. One of my favorite scents is Yankee's Pink Sands. It's great for the summer, but it is a sweet scent. I wanted something very different to change it up. The description for this candle (Fireside) says: bergamot, amber, exotic woods, and musk. Like others who've left reviews, I STRUGGLE to try to describe the smell. It is definitely NOT anything sweet, but it IS a DEEP, warm, luscious, cozy, homey smell. Not sure it SMELLS anything like a fire, but perhaps it's the musk that gives that "feeling". It would be a PERFECT companion to a fireplace going, or to a gas or electric log "fake" fireplace. Since it was burning in the kitchen and I'd been in the family room, the scent wafted to me in a very nice way, but I was unaware of any crackling that may have been going on. I don't care about crackling. To me, the presentation and most importantly, the scent is all important. It burned quite evenly for several hours and the wax is even upon cooling. It doesn't appear as if much was used. I am so impressed and loving this scent, I purchased 2 more at the Prime Day price. When summer ends, it'll be the PERFECT fall/winter candle, however, personally, it's so lovely, it could be used year round. WONDERFUL, elevated, rich, homey scent!

Love these candles! And these woodsy smells are so nice. The size you get and the amount of wax inside is a lot. It seems to be a great value to me. I like to use a candle warmer and it last a really long time.

I got this to give as a gift but I think I will try it myself. I like to hear the crackling of a fireplace and this supposedly does that. The scent is great. I can smell it thru the cellophane. It is going to last a good amount of time which is always good with a gift. It should set the mood. And it was on Sale!!

This candle smells amazing, a warm wood scent that feels cozy and relaxing perfect for the bedroom. Quality feels premium from the wax to the jar design.

Woodwick candles are great I have been using them for years. The longevity different sizes variety of flavorful scents are great, this is the first time I tried the Redwood scent, I did research on the scent blends and notes which were what I was looking for but not the strong perfume which comes through stronger than the other scents to create the Redwood. My research online at Woodwick stated there was no strong perfume scent in Redwood so I purchased it. There is a very strong perfume scent and it causes an unfavorable reaction to my sinuses and a headache so on that note....I suggest there be a scent description as well ingredients of each Woodwick candle, it would be helpful here. I have noticed the changes to the Woodwick candles most of the scents do have an over powering perfume scent to them unfortunately, some few years back that was not so much. This is the second Woodwick I have purchased with strong perfume scent, I gifted them to someone that the scent of strong perfume didn't bother. I will continue to purchase the Woodwick and as long as the price does not increase. Woodwick is a great candle product, I hope they cut out that over powering perfume scent, the last time I was in the redwood forest I did not smell perfume.

Smells good but not overpowering. Lasts way longer than other brands. Love the wood wick crackle. Like a campfire.
