Great Product!!
I had some expensive SRmax work shoes. It was one of those deals where I used it very little but for some reason it wore out on the heel. These shoes look brand new except for that wear. I don't think they're too big maybe the design with the big area in the back, nevertheless it was just uncomfortable. So I searched heel repair on Amazon and found this product. I ordered the set that has two different sizes. Now here are some tips, if you have a removable sole remove it. Try and smooth out flat the torn material in your shoes and keep it flat. So if you have to glue it down slightly do so, or trim it. I put the patch on there first without peeling the adhesive protective film and once I knew exactly how I wanted it I took the film off and applied it in one shot carefully rubbing it across so it's smooth and no wrinkles. On one shoe I use the small one and on the other shoe I had to use the larger one. On the larger one I got it on there just a little and had to lift it and reset it because I didn't line it up just right. I had to do this twice. Finally it was on where it should be and I rubbed it flat. Once it's on reinsert your soles. I think ideally you want the top of the patch to be under that round lip of the shoe, and the bottom of the patch to be as far down to the base of the shoe so when you reinsert the sole it covers it and helps keep it in place. The material is also easy to trim with a pair of scissors to make any custom shape you want however it's better to have more material covering the damaged area so it sticks better. As you can see, it looks perfect. Without shining a light on it you wouldn't tell it's there because it's all black. I can't feel it in my shoes and it has the same texture as the original one. After a week of everyday use, it it still looks perfect. I don't know what others are saying about the adhesive as it's very sticky and sticks great. You'll only have one shot to get it right in most cases. All I can say is make sure it's dry and clean and you should have no problem. I highly recommend it. If I have any pairs of shoes that are expensive or I even think that the heels aregoing to rub, I'm putting them on just as a protective layer.Update, 4 months and still stuck on good! Even went thru the wash and dryer! Now note, the shoes NEED to be clean! Glue down the remaining torn material before applying the patch, trim off any loose remaining material, then place patch. Use a larger patch for larger areas. If it doesn't overlap it sufficiently it won't work well. I'm very impressed. Placed them as I've stated on a new expensive pair of Brooks sneakers. I'm placing these on any new shoes I even think it may wear out on the heal, it's cheap insurance.

Durable for hikes
These are working great for my son's Merrill hiking shoes. He hiked 10 miles recently after i had patched both shoes and never had an issue. The edges were starting to slightly come loose but not enough to affect how the shoes felt or performed. Since you get so many in a pack, it was super easy to pull it off and replace it. I may try a bit of fabric glue in the edges if it does the same thing, but overall I'm very happy with these.

Sticky back and solid
There are two pairs of different sizes, one large and one smaller. They work well and are very sticky. Put them in my work boots where the back was torn and so far they are holding up.

Cut in two or smaller pieces if in a difficult spot
VERY sticky. But it's a good thing for long lasting but it makes it difficult to apply. Even holding it to apply it, it gets stuck to your fingers. And if like me. You are applying it to a fabric ballet slipper. You canopy fold it to get it under the lip or it was stick to itself when it bumps any touch too soon. But I still give this 5 stars bc I was able to cut and save enough of it to patch the hole. And for the other shoe I cut the patch in two pieces. It overlapped slightly due to my placement but I cant feel the overlap on my toes. So, I'd say I'd buy it again!

did not fix my problem long-term
They did not stick well to fabric lined shoe, and just rumpled up with use.work okay for a short, one wear use, but are not long-term fix.

Buy these to save your shoes
These work great on new shoes. If you find your shoes are constantly wearing on the inside heel, use these. I now put these on all athletic shoes I buy, so hopefully I'll wear through the soles before the inside heel just seems to break down.

Shoe Heal Repair Patches
They work pretty well on the inside heal of my Hoka running shoes. Just make sure you get them in straight and that the edges don't stick up above the back of the shoe. Peeling off the white backing is a little tricky. Once you have it off, the sticky adhesive really wants to stick to your fingers. You get 6 of these in a plastic zip lock bag. They come in 3 different sizes, 2 each to fit the size of your shoe.
