Ringke Slim Case Designed for iPhone 7/8 / SE 2020 (4.7-Inch) - Frost Mint

Excellent Fit and good protection for a minimalist case. I had originally ordered the Spigen case but the finish was so slippery that I was dropping my phone multiple times per day. Ordered the Ringke SLIM and the finish was much grippier and I have not had any issues with dropping it when I'm one handed using of my phone.I dropped the phone once as I was getting out of my vehicle, (No fault of the cases grip) from about five feet and the case did crack on the corner that it landed on. This is to be expected though and I feel that this SLIM case did exactly what it was supposed to do. No damage to the phone at all. When I noticed the crack I just jumped on smile.amazon.com and ordered another Ringke SLIM. I'm just keeping it on standby for if/when this crack at the corner gets any bigger and the case doesn't fit snug anymore.

I bought this 2 years ago because I wanted something sleek but durable. Not only does this meet that but it's very inexpensive. It also has just the right amount of tactile feel in my opinion. Not too sticky such that it gets stuck in your pocket but enough that it's not slick. It lasted two years and only at that point did it start to crack from normal wear. I did drop my phone once and the corner cracked a bit but not much and most importantly the phone was protected. I'd say if you frequently drop your phone you'd want something like an OtterBox but I don't drop my phone much (once or twice in a couple years) so I prioritized sleekness. I just got a new phone so ordered another one of these because I was so happy with it.

I prefer a slim case that doesn't add bulk to my iPhone. I've used a "feather" or "skin" case before (.35mm thin), and love the feel of them, but they offer almost no protection in a fall. Looking for something that makes me feel a little safer, I tried this Ringke Snug-Fit Slender case and it works just great. I don't like the rubbery feel of TPU cases, this one is plastic and I feel it offers better drop protection.Wanted to mention the difference between the "slate" and "black" cases as I bought and tried them both. The "black" case has just a little bit of brown in it, and it has a matte finish - it's just a little grippy and feels great in the hand. The "slate" case is smooth and just a little glossy and the "slate" color has a little bit of dark blue in it. Both look classy; I prefer the "black" as it feels more secure. I will upload a picture of the two to help people see the difference (Slate/blue on the left, Black/cocoa on the right)Also, the lip around the glass part of the screen does stick up enough to protect the glass face of the phone; and another lip on the back protects the glass face of the camera.This is a great deal if you want a minimal case that still offers a fair bit of mild fall protection while keeping the slim form factor of the iPhone!

This is one of the most poorly designed iPhone case that I've ever seen. If you look closely, all of these 5 star reviews are for free products, many of them don't even have iPhone 7's to test the product with. I purchased this case AT FULL PRICE and found it to be an awful designed product that seemed to be made with decent quality materials and craftsmanship.It's easy enough to pop the iPhone in the case, but once you do, you feel that the fit just isn't right. the lip of the case is always in the way, even though it feels loose. There's no way to easily use the edges of the iPhone screen and the phone "feels" loose, even though it isn't. The corners of the case are a major problem, they have a weird split design that caught pocket contents twice in the two hours that I tried to live with this case. But most bizarre of all is the odd artifact at the lower left side - who knows what it is, but it's annoying as all get out. Catching on things and just getting in the way as you try to use your phone. Then there's the problem of trying to get the phone out of this disaster. It's very difficult and thought that I was going to drop my phone or break a button off.This one is on the way back.

I've been using Frost Black on my iPhone 7 for exactly 1 week. It's a great slim case and I've purchased/used a lot trying to strike the right balance between slim and protective. This case is great as it includes a "lip" over the front of the screen. But I'm having a MAJOR problem and don't know if I have a dud or all of Ringke's have this type of issue - the outer film/layer of the case is peeling away on all sides (call it the "bumper" portion). The back is totally fine, no peeling there.Anyone else having similar issues?

This was one of the few cases that were available right when the iPhone 7 was released. I was worried it would be a rushed design and the product would be poor quality. I love the quality of the build, and the snug fit of the case around the phone. It is easy to snap on and off. It has a smooth matte finish. It has a raised feature around the screen, so you can place your phone on the table face-first without risk of scratching the screen. It offers good protection, while still being ultra slim. It takes very little away from the sleek feel of the phone.I recommend!

This cover is awesome! It’s so thin, but it actually does protect the phone because all edges of the phone are covered and the front of the case is raised above the screen. This is my second time buying this cover. The first one I had, I dropped a few times, no cracks or dents to my phone!! :) But after a few drops, the corners of the case became dented, so I got a new case. For such an inexpensive case that actually works, I really don’t mind buying it again since I do not want a bulky case.
