Ok, I have to rephrase my q: if you have extension tubes (not fuji) working with this lens, can you please tell me the brand? Mine are not compatible

There are loads of third-party XF- mount extension tubes out there, including sets with and without electrical contacts. I have both kinds, but typically use the ones with no contacts. I think they cost around $13 on the big auction site.

Will this lens work on a Fuji xt3?

I shoot with an X-T3 and find my 70-300 lens well balanced and the image stabilization allows me to shoot at maximum etension hand-held. The lens is also very sharp and supports great closeup focusing using the 1.4 extender and the 11mm extnssion at 1:1 with 23" working distance. An amazingly versatile option.

Is Lens motor always seeking for anyone else?

The lens motor is silent and only seeks the target when you activate it with the shutter button or the AF On button. Once locked on target, I have found it to be extremely stable. It will only chase new targets if your finger on the button moves to start a new subject acquisition. I use it on an XT-4. No problems at all
