Doesn't always perform as expected
I love the concept and decided to try it. I tune and fix bikes of all kinds all the time and the task of aligning disc brakes can be tedious at times when trying to center the pads. What I found with this product is that it doesn't always fit in the allotted space between the pads and rotor. Some brake calipers which self adjust will leave less space than the thickness of these truing shims. The shims are .008" thick and I found at times the only way to insert them is to remove the pads and compress the caliper pucks. Then insert the shim and apply the brakes at the brake lever. Then tighten your bolts. I would like to see these guys develop a thinner shim and offer it. I'd like to see a .005-.006" shim available.
