Good kids movie. My brother liked it when he was young and his son likes it now.

I love this movie. Some do not recognize this as a canonical addition to the original Scooby-Doo series/franchise. People are entitled to their opinion, but I can't imagine a movie this good would be left out like some of the later more rapidly produced movies of today.

Our household is full of Scooby-Doo fans. This particular movie is OK for a Scooby movie but it is VERY different from the original show and newer tv episodes. Before I continue, though, I should warn anyone out there that doesn't like Scrappy that he is in this movie! That can give you an indication of why there might be a big difference. Even with that, though, I was caught completely off guard by Shaggy having a girlfriend. She takes a little getting used to but after a while I didn't find her as annoying as in the beginning.The movie itself is full of silly things the kids found funny or would copy.... but they got bored and never finished the movie. It drags on in certain areas that I found boring myself. The only ones from the original gang in this movie are Shaggy and Scooby. The best part of the movie for the kids was when Shaggy got the hiccups and kept changing between his regular self and a werewolf! For the price we paid, though, it's worth having for a Halloween movie.

Loved this moving growing up and excited to share with my little girl now

This is one of my favorite movies. A race car driver, Shaggy, gets turned into a werewolf by The Hunch Bunch, whom Dracula sends because he needs a werewolf to drive in the road race in Transylvania. I like when Count Dracula does everything he can to stop Shaggy from winning. Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Googy, and Scrappy are stuck in a creepy, haunted castle. How can they win against so many obstacles? Googy and Scrappy help the others in a really cool red car. This movie was the best Scooby-Doo movie I have ever seen. The Hunch Bunch tries to stop Shaggy from winning, too, by order of Count Dracula. Even though Daphne, Fred, and Velma are not in it, it's still an excellent movie. If Shaggy wins the race, he gets to turn back into a human. They do everything they can to stop from losing. If you love Scooby-Doo the way I do, then you will really love this movie. The movie is 93 minutes long, but very fast moving, and very fun. If Shaggy and the others win, they get to go back home, too. I've watched this movie enough times to know that it is one of my favorite movies of all time. It's really interesting, and kids and grown-ups will like it a lot. Buy it!

This worked beautifully but near the end of the tape it dirtied my vhs player to the point it couldn’t play tapes so be advised stop the tape after shaggy wins the race

The people that don't like this movie generally point to the fact that the rest of "the gang" aren't in this movie. This is true, but this is still a very good movie. My son loves it just as much as the more recent Scooby movies. I would say that it is actually MORE age-appropriate for younger kids than the Scooby movies made in the 2000's - more silliness. Some reviewers also seem to be bothered by Shaggy wearing a red shirt as opposed to a green shirt. But then again, you can never please the traditionalists, can you?

What can I say? It contains Scrappy Doo. Everyone hates Scrappy Doo. He ruins every scene he's in. I thought after 20 years I could take "Let me at 'em!" briefly.I was wrong. So I used the product for skeet shooting.Hanna - Barbara should have to put warning labels on all Scrappy Doo appearances.

One of my absolute favourite childhood movie, no damage worth the price
