Top Quality
As a long distance European truck driver I spend a lot of time in my truck and I needed to find a better solution than the plug in versions which take longer than my tacho break to boil, so after doing some research I came across Fire Maple read the reviews and decided on this one and I can not fault it in any way it is a stunning piece of kit very well built, aesthetically pleasing and I can boil a cup of water in under 60 seconds.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality fast boiling gas stove.

Great value compared to others
The media could not be loaded. I love this camping stove and compared to others it is great value. I’ve used it twice so far, once on the tall gas canisters and once on the stubby small canisters. The item feels a lot sturdier on the small stubby ones but if you need to use on the tall ones you will need a gas canister adapter. A full stove of water heats in around 5 minutes and the cosy around the item keeps it warm for longer. To use:Make sure metal gas adjuster is turned off (fully clockwise)Screw the gas canister onto the stovePut your water filled heating pot on top of the stoveOpen the gas ( just a little bit) by turning the gas adjuster anti-clockwisePress the ignition button and open gas more if neededWatch the water boil with a smile on your faceGood points:It heats fastLooks goodIs compactEasy to useIt has an ignition buttonIncludes a lid (heating things faster)Includes a small plastic bowl (that fits inside)Bad points:The handles do work but they don’t feel as sturdy when you have a lot of liquid inside.

Works wonderfully in the correct conditions
Edit:After speaking with fire maple about some issues I was having I was given a replacement burner and it has been working very well so far.Boils 500ml of water in about 1 minute 30 seconds. A litre will take about 3-4 mins depending on how high you have the flame. Is a good product although it will melt if used in windy weather so I'd recommend I'm getting a little wind shield . I'd definitely consider buying other firemaple products in the future as the customer service was good.

Very handy water boiling system.
I've had a couple of similar boilers in the past and was pleased to get this at a reasonable price. The pot usefully holds 1 ltr to the max mark, the total capacity is around 135cl (filled to the brim). It boils water quite quickly without much heat energy overspill to the outside of the pot. The pot fits onto the bayonet mounts easily, removing it does not necessitate holding the base down. I used a 100g and a 500g gas canisters which all fit perfectly well, the larger canister giving more base stability, but is heavier and more bulky of course. The button igniter works perfectly, first time, every time. I like the fold out handles, these give a solid grip when deployed correctly (overlapped).Whilst this type of pot/burner combo is particularly suited to boiling water, they are often advertised as being perfect for cooking food. As the burner pattern is generally in a tight central area, gloopy food such as sauces and curry tend to burn on the thin base of the aluminium pot and need constant attention to minimise this. They are all pretty much the same, so I haven't reduced my rating because of this.

Great addition to a winters hike
Lightweight, compact great build quality and design. Boils water fast recommend getting the tripod for uneven ground and security. Really pleased with this, makes winters hikes much more enjoyable. Pricey, but in my opinion, worth it.

A £45 "Jetboil Killer" IMO
The stove is a very well made jet boil clone with the added bonus that it will boil a litre of water meaning you can make enough hot water for your food and a brew at the same time. The stove comes with a burner a pot and a small cup - it is not shipped with a gas cartridge. It uses standard 110g jet boil type screw on propane/butane mix cartridges. The only negative point is it does not come with any stabiliser legs lite a jet boil and is subsequently a tad top heavy when full -this was rectified by downloading a file from thingyverse and 3d printing one. It kicks out a lot of heat and boils water very quickly - which is what its main use is, its not really a stove for cooking food in the pot as it will just stick to the pot due to the power of the burner - but that's not what these type of cookers were designed for!For £45 this stove which is still going strong after 2 years of hard use is a real "jetboil Killer" IMO
