No commentary, just game diagrams
I have not read any of the games yet and cannot comment on them. I appreciate that this classic game collection has been made available to western players. But I wanted to point out that this book contains game records only, not commentary on the games. This was not clear to me from the description.Overall the book seems high quality, good paper, readable diagrams. Every diagram has exactly 50 moves (except for final diagrams of each game which often seem to have the 50-100 final moves), so no editorial commentary is even used to break the game up into chunks (opening, individual joseki, middle game, etc.).

Excellent, though high level, collection of games.
This is the best collection of classical Chinese Weiqi (Go, Baduk) games available in English. This is definitely a high level book as the games are provided without commentary. Recommended for players at Dan level.

Great Classical Go Games
Good quality book with great classical Go games as learning material. As a single digit kyu (3k), I was impressed at the shapes and different patterns that emerged in these old games. There is no game commentary, but I appreciated the exciting positions and amazing sequence of moves
