NikeMen's Air Monarch IV Cross Trainer

Best men's aerobic shoe
I have tried every brand of training, walking, and aerobic shoe and I finally found a shoe that can stand up to my active exercise lifestyle. I used to turn my ankle a few times a year with other shoes and my metatarsal would be sore to the touch at least once a month. Since I have been wearing these Air Monarchs, I have not turned an ankle and my metatarsal is never sore. I have recently started using orthotics for my other shoes and they fit perfectly in the Air Monarchs with plenty of toe room. The last in these shoes is very strong and the shoes will retain form anywhere from 6 months to a year, depending on how many classes you take a week. If you workout indoors, the soles will not breakdown. I have pronounced pronation so I tend to wear out shoe soles quickly when I walk a lot, but indoors the first part of the shoe to age is the last and the shoes start to provide less support. The ball area has a round sole support which is good for spinning, turning, and other jazzercize moves.I also tend to wear holes in the toe area. Because these shoes are leather, toe wear is non-existent.I highly recommend these shoes for any type of aerobic exercise.I finally zeroed in on a size comfortable for me that is one size larger than my regular shoe size, primarily because I wear thick socks when I exercise which helps stimulate blood return as I am considered beyond middle age and my feet can swell more often. I would recommend you try shoe sizes before you buy. I order one size up on all Nike gear from experience.

Beautiful shoes.
Very very nice shoes. White, so they can get dirty easy, but wear them sparingly and you got a sweet set of kicks. Very comfortable.

Nice! Also no squeak so far!
I bought these for my boyfriend who is a Nike snob. Now lets be honest, Nikes can be so expensive you need to take out a loan or sell a kidney to buy a pair. I stumbled on these which were affordable, leather & looked cool. I was nervous because of the tales of the dreaded Nike "squeak"..Still I took a chance & ordered them..So far so good. He loves them, they fit as expected, no squeak so far & he wears them everday. They've been comfortable & seem to be really well made. The box they came in looked like it had been in combat (what's up with that I wonder?) however, the shoes were new & perfect. I'd recommend trying them if you have doubts.UPDATE: Shoes are still in great shape. They seem to be wearing well but they have begun "Squeaking" in both shoes. You won't be Sneaking up on anyone in your Sneakers.UPDATE #2: I took the inserts out of the shoes & sprayed W10-40 in the holes (The attachable straw fits so oddly perfect..: ) I let them air out so his socks wouldn't smell, put the liners back in..Voila! Squeak was gone & hasn't came back so far. He's happier than a clam because he loves the look of these & how comfortable they are. I think Nike could benefit from talking to other shoe brands for advice on fixing this "squeak" issue of theirs.. Lol

Great crosstrainer shoes for my treadmill, for walking or jogging
I've bought this exact make of Nike shoes almost 10 years ago, and the adhesive for the rubber soles finally came loose. So I was happy to find this exact same make of Nike Air Monarch shoes available on Amazon. These shoes are a perfect fit if you are a 9 and 1/2 regular sized foot. They are well cushioned and help absorb shock to my aging knees.I would buy an extra pair but I don't know if the rubber for an extra pair will hold up after another 10 years. So I have to hope they still have this make of shoe available in another decade.

Squeaking shoes.
I have been buying these same shoes for years. I like how comfortable they are and look good. The problem I have with this last pair is they squeak when walking. Kind of embarrassing walking in a quiet place. I’ve tried what others have said taking the insoles out and applying powder. That works for a while but it comes back.
