Is it submersible ? Someone commented theirs got water in the switch and it stopped working.

Can it be used in a chlorine tank? Have aerobic septic and need a low chlorine level indicator.

I'm using the switch in clean water & 12 volts . the float can move easily on the shaft, but the switch gets stuck closed until i bang on it. help?
