Brilliant Machine
Excellent piece of kit.Having had the benefit of a basic education (it WAS a comprehensive school so I emphasise the term "basic"), I was able to read the manual and understand how this machine works. In particular I was able to discern the two operating modes; i.e. Mode I - vacuum cleaning and Mode II - start synchronised with power tool and was also able to understand that the port which under normal operation is the exhaust from the machine may also be used as a blower by attachment of the hose to that port.My school also taught me how to use a screwdriver which came in very useful when assembling the machine. It is of a sturdy design with a metal drum body which should not split easily like some of the plastic machines available. The suction tubes are also metal and must weigh several ounces each.It is a powerful piece of kit. If anything it is too powerful as it sucks up pretty much anything in its way regardless of the size which can cause the suction tubes to become blocked.

Dont Buy - Dreadful Rubbish!!!
Sadly cant do zero stars! This Vacuum assembles easily out of the box and then you realise there was absolutely no point! It has so little suction it can barely remove a light covering of sawdust from a smooth bench top - I could have moved more sawdust with a drinking straw - bought this to replace an awesome Nilfisk that had sadly given up after more than 10 years of sterling service - Guess what? returned this rubbish and paid for amother Nilfisk at twice the price!

excellent,exceeds expectations
Vacmaster Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner 30L | Tough, Powerful 1500W Garage Vacuum, bought March 2021I hate buying products that don't work as advertised so I am delighted to say that this isn't one of themI bought this as an alternative to buying a sump pump to empty my oil tank bund that always fills with rainwaterall the negative reviews of poor suction are unjustified this cleaner has plenty of suctionit easily emptied the sump along with all the leaves grit and slime and emptied it dry and far better than a sump pump couldthe second reason I bought it is to clean my guttersI am fed up using ladders gloves and a bucket for this taskso I need to get some suitable drain pipe to fit the vacuum nozzle and a couple of bends then I should be able to clean the gutters from the ground this should save a lot of timeyou can also use this to clean the downpipe gulley'sgreat for hoovering the car as welladd to that its intended use as a workshop vacuum and whats not to like

Blew up in the third use
Initially it was great. Good suction power, good size. We even nicknamed it R2-D2. But then, something blew up inside it in the third day of use. I used it first for half an hour to clean a rug, then used it for 2 or 3 hours to clean my garage (dry dust basically) and today when I went to the garage to finish the job it smoked after 2 hours of use or so. I heard and saw the spark at the top, it started to make a really weird noise as if something was loose inside, and I ran to turn off the socket. Then it started to smell smoke (although there wasn’t actual smoke coming out of it). This is obviously not the most expensive vacuum cleaner out there but I expected a lot more for a mere 6 or 7 hours of work. Bad quality. Sent back to Amazon and I don’t intend to buy products from this manufacturer again.

Could suck blood from a stone (not literally)
Well this thing has more suction than a toothless lady of the night! It's hard to move about like all other Hoover's of this type but was a million times better in the car than the Dyson or the shark that I've owned. Added benefit that it sucks wet stuff up, plus can clear dirt or gravel or leaves from outside. Great bit of kit well worth the money.
