Coidak CO816 E26 Color Changing LED Bulb with Timer & Sleep Function and Pure White Light, 2.4G Wireless Control Dimmable A19 Lamp with Remote, Aluminum Shell, 3-Pack

I tested about 5 different bulbs including the older version of the Coidak without the timer settings. This bulb, the CO816 is pretty cool and worked far better with the more usable features of any tested. I returned all the others, and will be keeping this 3 pack, as long as they continue to work. I've only owned them for about a week.For my use, I put each bulb in a floor accent can and it shines up toward the ceiling. It looks great for mood lighting or ambient lighting while watching a movie and has plenty of other uses too as they describe in the product overview (parties, holiday lights, etc) You could shine different colors upward from the base of a large plant or indoor tree for a cool look.It comes with a versatile remote which has a far reach. I actually tested it from the street to my front window five stories high and it worked. I was surprised, and delighted.Check out the video for the various settings I go through:Brighness/dimming : Start with a standard color or DIY (Do It Yourself) color and use the up/down brightness buttons to increase/decrease the light output about 8-10 levels.Selecting DIY colors: Start with red, blue, green or white and using the up/down color buttons you make your own colors (i.e. pink, orange, lighter blues, yellow, etc.). To save your color you would hold down one of the DIY buttons until the bulb flashes once, this indicates it is set. You could keep the DIY color on constantly or use it with the other 2 DIY colors to Jump or Fade the 3 colors you choose.Jump or Fade transition each has a setting for use with 3 colors, 7 colors standard or using 3 of the DIY colors. You can then control the brightness and speed that the bulb changes colors. From a stobe or fast flash to a slow transition.and finally you can set the timer to shut off the bulb(s) from 30 seconds to 8 hours.Other observations/comments:It is not particularly easy to get a true color (of yellow, orange, purple, etc.) outside of the standard, but it is decent.I wish the 3 pk (which is less expensive then buying 3 individually) came with more than 1 remote, to have a second handy or keep and use from another room.The instructions aren't as clear as they can be, most people should be able to figure out the settings by playing with the remote.

Brilliant colors and plenty of lumens, this product far exceeded our expectations.We wanted this to add color to our walkway globe lamp, and were concerned that the lamp shape might not "fill the globe".Boy, were we wrong. Wonderful!We bought this along with another version, but were not impressed with the light output of the other..This one has been in place and on for a full week. I had fun with the remote changing colors unexpectedly when our neighbor was looking at it:)I also prefer the stand alone remote to phone apps.

I bought 2 for my bed room. Put them in lamps on each side of the bed. They look wonderful when both bulbs are synchronized and you use the 3 custom memory presets to change the color. Best of all it is RF, so you can control them with complete liberty. They Dim too, have a off timer, the works. Only downside is that if the lose power for a bit, they get de-synchronized so you have to sync the colors again.Since it worked so well, I bought 4 and paired them to two lamps that sit beside the living room TV. Took a while, but synced them all together. Now I can set the background light and color to match the ambient light and the content being shown on the tv. Helps the eyes when watching at night.

Love this light, have two of them now. I bought the first for the bedroom so I could fall asleep reading and not have the light on all night, the sleep timer works great for that. The whole thing does so much I just loved it, so I bought on for the living room as well. Was going along thinking it was perfect in every way until today. Today our power went out for just a couple of seconds (construction happening nearby) and when the power came back on - so did the light. Since I was home it wasn't a big deal, and I still LOVE this bulb, but if I were on vacation - that light would just be on until I came home potentially?? That makes me feel a little uncomfortable, but I have pet/house sitters so I will keep the light, but still.... something to think about. Otherwise, great bulb that does SOO much for very little cost.

We got this for our toddler's lamp because we were fighting every night about keeping the light on. Now we leave it on for a period of time and shut it off with the remote. We don't use the colors but they are pretty cool. The remote has good range. We can use it downstairs for the upstairs lamp. My only complaint is that the battery has gotten dislodged a couple of times and when that happens it doesn't work. The battery compartment is hard to get out so its a little fight, then putting it back in its place. I do also think its a bit expensive.

Looks great, works as advertised. You can easily choose your color with a pair of up/down buttons on the remote that transitions smoothly through the color spectrum. Very convenient that the remote is not IR so it goes through the fixture. My only suggestion would be that they offer a slower cycle on the auto color change feature. Even at its slowest speed it moves so quickly through the colors (10 seconds) that it is distracting. I would like to have it stay blue for a minute or two perhaps before noticeably changing so that when your eyes happen to glance in its direction from time to time you are surprised by a new color.

We got this to put in our son's bed for night time reading. He is constantly losing flashlights in the vortex that is his bed, OR falling asleep without turning off said lights and running down the batteries. This is a fabulous and very versatile light. I love the timer feature, he can set the timer for 1 hour and it'll go off on it's own, or if he's not done yet he can turn it back on with the remote. I love that there are so many color choices, and that they are dimmable to an appropriate night time reading level.

This is the Bright white bulb. The light output is very industrial and stark. Great for an office, or studio, less so for living space. Also the separate r g and b leds are about 1W each.. So this should be treated as a white bulb that can kinda do colour. If that's what you need, great.

you would not believe how many of my friends think that i am so cool now i have this installed in my shed. when i say friends, i mean my dog, Bromley. he likes it.

Controller looks complicated but actually very simple and self-explanatory. More expensive than some but it has more options. Just screw it in, play with the options, make your choice and that's it.

Excellent, great fun and practical. I only wish it was a bit brighter on white.

Good light - doesn't buzz/hum like others..

Warning: these lightbulbs are NOT 12w. They are 6w White + 6w RGB - this is very misleading. It should say 6w White OR 6w RGB. You simply can NOT add them up. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING. I tested these with a few other models, They do NOT give 12 watts of light. For example, my 10W LED bulb is much brighter than this one. Go figure.I am complaining, because I specifically purchased 3 of these, hoping to have brighter bulbs. I was so disappointed that I returned them.As for the features, some are great. I.R. signal is fantastic (no need to aim and press). Dimmer can go way down. However, I find other features are useless to me.- different timers, many colors flashing at different speeds, etc. Once I choose a color, I stay with it.

Für den ausgelobten Preis von 17,99 Euro bekommt man hier ein erstaunlich gut ausgerüstetes Stück Lichttechnik. Bisher bin ich recht begeistert, mit sehr, sehr kleinen Abstrichen.Sehr gut gefällt mir, dass neben den fabigen LED auch eine reinweiße verbaut wurde. Dadurch wird weißes Licht nicht nur aus den Grundfarben gemischt und hat eine höhere Lichtqualität.Sehr gut ist ebenfalls die Abstufung der Dimmbarkeit. Schön hell auf höchster Stufe und auf unterster dunkler als manch Kerze.Super ist auch die Steuerung über eine FUNK (!) - Fernbedienung, kein Infrarot. Genau das habe ich gesucht, um keine Sichtverbindung zum Leuchtmittel haben zu müssen. Nahezu alle anderen Fabrikate auf dem Markt funktionieren via Infrarot, das störanfällig ist.Ein Kompromiss ist die Lichtfarbe. Zwar kann man zwischen den Farben ausreichend gut abstufen und Zwischentöne erzeugen, aber...Weiß kann nicht mit Farbe gemischt werden. Leider. Somit ist keine Einstellung der Farbsättigung möglich, nur der Farbton und dessen Helligkeit.Weiß verbleibt auf 6500 Kelvin, was eben eine recht hohe Farbtemperatur ist und somit "kühl" erscheint. Das ist zwar Tageslicht, für den Wohnraum morgens oder abends jedoch recht unterkühlt. Abhilfe schafft die Einstellung des Gelben Farbtons, der (led-typisch) nur wenig gelb ist, oder das Herunterdimmen des Weiß, was den Eindruck angenehmer macht.Fazit: bisher, ohne Langzeiterfahrung, alles super. Nur eben das knallige Weiß könnte besser sein. Gäbe es eine LED mit Warmweiß und sonst gleicher Ausstattung wäre die mein Idealfall gewesen.

Nachdem ein ähnliches Leuchtmittel eines anderen Herstellers aus dem Baumarkt nach kurzer Zeit defekt war, haben wir es mit diesem Produkt versucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Da die Fernbedienung funk- und nicht infrarotbasiert ist, muss man nicht direkt auf das Leuchtmittel zielen und kann sogar mehrere Leuchtmittel anlernen und gleichzeitig steuern. Besonders praktisch finden wir die Timer-Funktion, da wir dann bei einer schönen Lichtstimmung einschlafen können und die Lampe schaltet sich dann von selbst nach einer voreingestellten Zeit ab.Ebenfalls vorteilhaft ist, dass für die weiße Lichtfarbe eigene LEDs zum Einsatz kommen und diese nicht über die anderen Farb-LED zusammengemischt wird: dadurch wird eine große Helligkeit ermöglicht, die das vorher eingesetzte Produkt nicht einmal im Ansatz erreicht hat. Farbübergänge erfolgen stufenlos und angenehm weich. Wir können das Produkt uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

What a great product! Very easy to learn to use, and highly configurable. My young daughters have learned to program the DIY modes to their favorite settings already.I ordered 4 packages of 3 bulbs each, or 12 bulbs in all, and one bulb was defective. The colored LEDs worked, but the white LED didn't function. The seller promptly and courteously sent me a replacement bulb. Hassle-free and speedy, and that impresses and pleases me!

I wasn't expecting much from this unit, I thought it would be nice to have a little colour. The unit looks just like a regular light bulb, you screw it in and turn on the power. You go to the remote that came with it, then you discover how nice it really is. I love this unit and I will be purchasing another one.

Die Glühbirnen sind einfach super! Die Farben sind sehr facettenreich und die vielen Einstellungen erleichtern uns das Leben ungemein. Haben die Leuchten unterm Carport als Hofbeleichtung und Dank der Timerfunktion ist unser Hof nun immer schön hell wenn wir im Dunkeln einparken müssen. Auch die Reichweite der Fernbedienung ist unschlagbar, da können sich manch andere Glühbirnen ein Beispiel dran nehmen!Kaufe die Leuchten jederzeit gerne wieder!

Much better than others in this price range for the following reasons:-Brighter than others I've ordered (although still not enough for a replacement to a normal bulb)-Programmable DIY colors-RF remote works without having to point directly at the bulb. *Much* better than IR, especially if it's in a fixture-Brightness control lets you dim it enough to work as a night light.

Don't expect a bright light, you need 2 of these in a fixture to get reasonable light in a room, but for mood lighting this is a very cool and inexpensive solution.
