I do go swimming with my Key Fab for my car and did destroy it, but happy to say here on Amazon found one for the lower cost than the dealer, the dealer wanted to charge me $400.0 for a new one and to reprogram it want $125.00 lol . I did save a lot of money getting it on Amazon then have a lock smith in town program it, in call coast me $142.50 not the $525.50 the dealer would have charged me and it works just like new again >> 5*

stay away. i took the fobs to a locksmith who charged me $90 to program one and $45 to program the second one. about an hour later the fobs no longer worked. took them back to the locksmith who reprogrammed and sure enough about 1/2 later the fobs were not working. DEFECTIVE, DEFECTIVE, DEFECTIVE

Works as promised with Toyota RAV4 2015.You will have to order programing tool to program your car to accept new fob.Package includes business card with link to company you could rent tool from.

It’s fine when battery is new but it shoul activate the ignition by touching the start button even with a dead remote battery. It does not . You can easily get stranded if your remote battery is dead and you don’t have the original remote

1. I used a professional locksmith to program this for my 2018 rav4. It does not work... while other circuitboards, from other venders, have a code on the board (e.g., type g or ag), this board has no code. It is a super cheap after market board.2. while this company has a "return policy", the buyer pays for the return. To me this suggests they do not stand behind the product. to spend $20 to return this $91 item is outrageous.3. I suggest you look for an aftermarket board with the (type G or other), printed right on the board. Stay away from this company.

Great second option if you don’t want to pay the dealer prices. Worked for my 2014 Toyota RAV4 limited. Just had the local locksmith program and cut the key. You do need another working key to program it.

I bought this key off Amazon and paid a professional to program it. It works enough for a spare but the touch to unlock only works when the key is within a few inches and I also locked my key inside once. This happened only because the car didn't recognize the key was inside when most of the time it refuses to lock with the key inside.

Dealership wanted 350.00 for key fob alone and over a hundred to program it. I took this key fob to a local locksmith and saved over two hundred dollars. The key works great!
