Junior is head of the family business in Chicago , while their father is in jail and Hugh, Pepper’s manager has borrowed a substantial amount of money from the mafia to fund Peppers latest albums. Unfortunately the Album sales have not done well , now Junior is demanding that they settle the debt with Pepper performing at the hotel . There an instant attraction between Tony & Pepper and it’s not long before the two get together in the biblical sense , there’s a lot going on in her life apart from being in debt to the mafia she’s had laryngitis for days which is causing her to mime at her concerts ,it’s a matter that Hugh should have attended to . Actually Pepper is getting fed up, with her manager, so much so that Pepper fires him, but we will soon learn that Hugh is not a very nice person and his true colours are revealed . A series of dramatic events towards the end put Pepper's life in danger , can Tony keep her safe and more to the point will there be a future for this unlikely couple ? ❤️❤️.

Tony, the right hand man to Nico, the Mafia boss, is given the job of making sure that Pepper, a singer, pays her debt to the Tacone family by performing at the Bellissimo Hotel. Pepper is feisty and afraid of saying what she thinks and Tony respects her for this and finds himself attracted to her. The debt to the Mafia has been brought about by Pepper's manager through his questionable dealings which gives another angle to the story.Because the story seemed to have a bit more to it than the earlier ones in the series I found it more enjoyable.

This instalment in the series is about bodyguard Tony, Nico's right hand man who had a tough up bringing with an abusive father. He is the complete opposite to his father, women are to be cherished and protected and none so more that Pepper. Pepper is at the bellissimo to pay off her managers debts. She's a singer and a popular one. I really enjoyed the scenes with the two of them together, it brought out a different side to them. They shined when together and I loved the HEA.

I am loving this series, this is the 3rd book in the series. Each one can be read as a standalone but you have a better understanding if you have read the previous two.Pepper is a musician who finds herself indebted to the mob through the shady dealings of her manager. Tony is the enforcer who needs to ensure she repays her debt by singing for the casino.Pepper and Tony try hard to resist each other but in the end they are singing the same tune!! 🎤🎶I am so ready for Jokers Wild and Juniors story

Enjoyed reading this book about Pepper and Tony.Tony works for the Mafia as an enforcer and does a good job then enters Pepper and that's when he falls in love.Characters great and getting better.
