One wash and it looks age old
When the product arrived it looked so good and posh, but once I washed it (as we need to wash any products before using) the wood colour completely changed and now it looks so old and not at all appealing in my kitchen.. quite disappointed

Careful. Polish will come out during first use.
Overall it's a good product. But beware of the wood varnish/polish coming out during initial uses. U may ingest that. After the polish is gone, it's safe to use and the overall choice of ladles and the holder are also good.
