Q: The products is defective. i am unable to peel anything off the back unless i damage the planets. am i the only one with this issue?

I had a bit of an issue but solved it by using a knife edge to peel it. A bit annoying but it stick well to walls and lasts long.(even on my textured wall)

Yes. Mine glow in the dark. I'm actually really impressed on how they look in the dark. We've had them for about 5 months now and they are still glowing. I don't know why people are saying they don't glow. My son's room gets nice light during the day so that may be the difference since they need to absorb some sort of light in order to glow. I would recommend them.

Q: What chemical makes it glow?

I'm sorry but I have no idea. But the stickers do look really nice and are removable just the backing is difficult to remove the first time. I'm sorry I couldn't be of any help.

Q: Can they we used on textured walls?

I think what matters most is a very clean and dry wall but textured walls such as orange peel will stretch over anything that protrudes or pokes out from the Wall and will shape around it making it look like something is poking out and it could possibly put a hole in the sticker. In my wall the sticker just went around and over it looked a reverse dent trying to poke through. I had them up for about 4 years and they never fell off and they were removable for a few years but keep in mind that I had painted the before putting the stickers up they looked quite nice but when they were finally remove it tore off the paint behind it maybe I didn't wait long enough before putting up the stickers. But my oldest boy moved out and his sister took over took down about $100 in stickers all the work I put into that room I t two weeks to paint and decorate it it feels like such a waste. I hope that helps.
