Shade Shifter Multichrome Nail Polish- 0.5 oz Full Sized Bottle

The color does shift in certain lights, but it’s more of a turquoise green shade in natural lighting

Please excuse my hand and nails. They're not perfect, but this is after having worn the polish for one week and 2 days. I've seen reviews on chipping, and I'm not sure what's going on, but personally, there has been no chipping. Though I did put two layers of top coat because I was worried of chipping, and here are the results of that: still beautiful! It's so pretty, this is now my new favorite polish and it is worth the high price tag. I did put on a base coat, then one layer of Sally Hansen's insta-dri polish (in black). Also in other reviews, people are sharing on putting more than one layer -- in my experience, just using one black layer helped a LOT. Just one swipe of this beautiful shade & it was already well-pigmented and shimmering. I could've stopped there, but I did but on another layer to see if there wa a difference, which there wasn't. So it was mostly to cover any spots Including the two top coats, there are 6 layers of polish in the pic, but I could get away with 5, 3 or even just the black and this polish together. But to avoid chipping & have a base coat, that's at least 4 layers. (This explanation is for anyone that adds a base and top coat, but doesn't want to have like 7 or more layers on a single nail.) I love how beautiful this color is and it does shine blue in certain lighting. It's pretty trippy looking at it a certain angle and you can see both colors at once...so if you close one eye at a time, then you can see each color separately.

I like the color a lot. The color changing effect is dope/lit (however the youth refers to it). I tested it outside and it looks a lot better outside than inside. Dries quickly, I don't know how well it stays on by itself because I used a top coat to protect it either way (as I think you should). Came really quickly through mail in really pretty packaging (not that it matters much but it was nice). I have received numerous compliments and I feel great. I used around 3 coats too as most reviews say. I bought black nail polish for the base but it didn't come in time and I just wanted to test it. This is my first nail polish purchase so I don't know if the price is good or not but I will say it is for how nice the effect is and for how expensive nail polish either way seems to be. I am a guy who wanted to try it out and I don't regret it. I can't really say anything negative because I'm pretty satisfied.Update: Last around 2 weeks with a top coat and three layers of this. It didn't chip or discolor and they nail polish fell off because I frequently do stuff with my hands like chores so one nail peeled off and I decided to peel the rest off too

Really like the polish so far. Pretty color and stays on well. However, the brush is way too wide. A great brush, just too wide. It holds too much polish making an even application difficult. Leaves a build-up on the tip of the nail, in the form of a ridge of polish. Have to let it semi-dry for a few minutes, then press it down which then leaves skin marks (fingerprints...) on the polish.This is the second time I've applied it. Did not try a 2nd coat the first time. Getting ready to put on a 2nd coat and will see if that goes any better.At this point, the color looks very much like the photo, but nails don't. Polish is just not smooth. Maybe the 2nd coat plus a clear top coat will help.UPDATE: 2nd coat + top coat did not help. Polish surface was too uneven for the topcoat to fill and smooth.

This polish is worth every penny! It's multichromatic effect is fantastic looking. It's primarily blue and purple, but depending on the angle and the lighting in the room it can appear pink, red, orange, almost yellow and even black. Sometimes I'm reminded of the visual effect of motor oil in water, but not at most angles. During the day in direct daylight It seems more bright blue with darker blue and purple accents. At night, however, it seems more purple and magenta. It goes on very smoothly and doesn't take forever to dry if you apply it properly.It's very unique looking. Some polishes that look nice when you see them in the bottle and in pictures on the internet, but look really tacky when you get them home and put them on. This is not one of those polishes. It's fun, maybe a little edgy in certain circles, but so gorgeous and fascinating, while being understated enough as to remain classy. I started getting compliments on it the first time I left the house. If you're a fan of purple or blue polishes you really must pick this one up.I applied a clear base coat, three coats of Shade Shifter, and a clear top coat. I haven't played with undercoats yet to see how it alters the effect, but I'm eager to try it once this starts to wear and chip.

This is one of the best nail polishes I have ever used! so unique and beautiful! It is exactly as pictured, although I would recommend putting a dark coat of nail polish under it, above your base coat, one or two coats of KBShimmer, and top it with a good top coat such as Seche Vite! You will not be disappointed, and it last longer on my nails then most nail polishes do, and having gone to cosmetology school and discovering I have oily nail beds, many nail polishes do not last longer than a day or so! I cannot wait to try more KBShimmer nail polishes! I did not realize this before, but they do have a website that has all KINDS of colors, shades, top coats, base coats, with reviews and a cheaper price! I can't wait to place my order and since I waited so long for this nail polish to come in, along with this product not being prime, I might as well try the site! Just a tip!Those of you who are not getting the results like the picture, please read my review and try it! An under coat of a dark color makes all the difference in the world!!
