Being Cost-effectively made, it seems each one has a small margain of acceptable error. With the ones i have there is a small difference in padding placement and thickness. Only nocticable in the chin area. One sits nice around my chin while the other needed pulled back and straps adjusted to keep the chin guard from slipping under my chin. Hence 4 stars not 5, The padding is much thicker and dense in the front of the gaurd then around the sides or back. It will soak up all your sweat! Three adjustment straps make it easy to adjust to any headsize, though keep in mind where the chin guard may get moved to as it kinda just floats around you chin. Before your ready to spent $100+ on headgear get one of these. These have everything you need and will give you an idea of what you like and what you'd like better. Best price and works great!

I've done boxing training for many years, as part of a fitness thing (not professional). Though the reason that I started was because one of my friends was actually a Top 10 ranked heavyweight contender. So there was a time that I used to do a little sparring and working out with him, when he was in town. Otherwise, he'd spend about 8 or so weeks at a time at a camp out of state, without distractions. And also because training at a higher elevation (up in the mountains) ensured that he could last well until the championship rounds and not run out of gas. I train my daughter, but I don't always have to buy her the same brands that I myself use. Especially since she'll grow out of certain gloves and other things. The headgear is for myself. She doesn't need it at the moment, and I telegraph my swings with the focus pads so that nothing will ever hit her. Fits well enough, it's snug. I honestly don't need the headgear if I'm taking a punch for her, but it's a convenient way to avoid possible tears in my skin (especially since I'm not slathering vaseline on my face). You get what you pay for, it's sufficient for training with kids.

Best for medium to light sparring. When it gets sweaty with full contact it can move around on the head impairing sight.

Very comfortable, great protection. I use it to dot with my son who is training. Works as intended. No tears or any issue with the material after days of use. Great product.
