My hair does not hold curl for very long - using this, I have had the curl last a couple days. It takes a little bit to figure out how to use it correctly to get the type of curls you want, but this works as well as the ones that are 3X the cost.

This is the best hair appliance. It’s a one stop shop, straighten or curl all in one. The only negative is that there is a learning curve but once you get it, it rocks. The first time I used it I looked like Shirley Temple lol but now I get the curl I like. It is a must purchase

I think this would have been a great iron had I had more bulk to my baby fine hair. Sadly when I'd take smaller sections to curl, it didn't close tight enough to be as effective as I'd like. I saw others comment on this prior to buying but thought I'd try anyhow. Lol. They were right. The two plates don't close tightly. Now if I had thicker or coarser hair, maybe this would be a moot point so for that reason, I'm not gonna penalize this company by giving it zero stars or a crappy review. I do want to be honest though for all the thin or baby fine hair gals. This might not be the best fit for you. I did like how it would curl the hair, but In order for it to really work for me I basically had to put in a quarter of my hair to get the two plates to grip my hair and have just 4 curls wasn't doing it for me, lol. Don't get me wrong, this sounds like I have very little hair, that's not the case, I have a lot, it's just super soft baby fine hair. Bummer it didn't

This really could be a great set. I was so excited about the idea of the automatic temperature lock, but unfortunately the one I received didn't work. I also really liked the colors, but unfortunately the coating on the plates on mine had a couple of rough stops causing my hair to pull and break off at times (not glide smoothly through as should be the case). The accessories that come with this straightener / curler are great though and for the price would have been a fantastic deal if I hadn't have had those two issues. The return was easy and seemless though. I'm giving 3 stars because I feel like it's very possible that I just got "the bad one out of the batch" so to speak and I'm sure that happens to all companies at one time or another.

I'm not one for changing brands or buying new to replace what isn't broke but my old straightener only straighted (it's 17 yrs old) and I wanted one that curls too.. I have a very short pixie cut and this has been perfect I'm honestly very satisfied so far! This heats up very fast curls and straightens and it adds even more volume I love it

I had high hopes for this curling/flat iron as it got high ratings and a recommendation from Amazon. I made the assumption it was superior in quality since it's also priced higher. I will be returning for the following reasons: there are no visual instructions enclosed ... not even simple drawings showing how to use it. I bought primarily for the curve feature as it's supposed to make curls. How is this achieved? The instructions describe putting sections of hair into a "U shape" ... what??? Some visuals would have been nice. Also, my hand is constantly hitting the on/off button located right where you hold the iron. Impossible to keep from hitting it, especially when you're twisting it in attempt to make curls. The variable temperature setting keeps jumping around. I tried to set for 300 degrees but could only manage either 270 or 310 which is a big difference. Finally, the ad clearly shows and describes a glove as part of this package, which was not enclosed.

This works amazingly. I was expecting a cheap Remington kinda iron. I wasn’t expecting much, but boy was I wrong. It’s gets super hot, the plates are super smooth, and it glides through my hair so easy. It does the trick with one pass, and it’s super easy and fast to use. I recommend

I bought 4 of these stylers with the twisted plates. This one was forty five bucks and the most expensive (two others were 39-40 bucks and the Remington was 25) but it felt just like the Remington; cheap. I used it once and it was not at all better than the Remington, which I already returned, and this one is going back too. This one left weird “crimps” in my hair at the top where I first closed it around my hair and then they were really hard to straighten out, even tho this is also a straightener. My hair is super thin and baby fine; it takes style well (but doesn’t hold it) but I couldn’t get this to curl or straighten out the cramps from trying to curl my hair.
