I have just purchased a bottle of the ketchup, when arrived I found it with no seal is this normal??

There should be a seal. It's moulded into the flap of the lid, and you break it when you open the bottle for the first time.

What have the use by dates been like for those who have purchased this?

I bought this on 9th December 2021. The expiry date was 30th April 2022. This is shorter than I expected but was OK for me as I only ordered one bottle.
