help for an old dog
I ordered this product to help our old dog walk on the hardwood floors without slipping and falling. It is easy to apply to her pads, and she doesn't try to lick it off. We reapply it every other day. It will probably be effective longer in the summer, but after going out in the snow multiple times per day it starts to wear off. The product is giving her more traction when walking indoors, and preventing her from falling down. It doesn't leave any sticky spots on the floors.

I bought this to use with an older dog that needed better traction. Kindof worked however the stickiness doesn’t last long. My house is clean but the tacky part picks up dust and doesn’t stay tacky long. Booties are working better for our purposes. Probably works well as intended for short periods during a show.

Doesn't work and it's non returnable
My Shih Tzu has hip dysplasia and I've been looking for things to help prevent him from slipping and falling. From what I read, it seemed this could be a viable option, but all it does is make my hands and the floor sticky. It does nothing for my dog's paws, and he's slipping all over the place. Not a product for dogs that actually need help not slipping. Maybe it works for show dogs, but it's not useful for dogs that need help NOT slipping.

Ok.
Didn't really work for my standard poodle. Hoped it would keep her from sliding on the floor but it dosent stay on the pads long. Was worth a try though.

Don’t see much difference
I really think this is for show dogs not at home dogs slipping and sliding

My dog was afraid of shiny floors and then...
We got this stuff and I can now take my retired Greyhound to the pet store and the vet and on vacation with me without worrying about him slipping. The scent is very chemically and pretty strong, but I feel like it's a trade-off. I am so glad that I found this stuff because it is the best solution. I tried rub on salves and booties and the stick on the things. The first one didn't work and the last two he hated. This stuff is a lifesaver. Make sure you apply it outside. It takes some practice to get it on the dog and not on yourself.

High Hopes Dashed
My dog has neurological and orthopedic issues causing difficulty getting traction to get up easily on smooth floors. I had hoped this would help. It is impossible to just spray onto his pads, so the fur between the pads get sticky as well. The stuff on the pads will wear off, but takes a while for the fur to lose the stickiness.
