Depending on the amount of sediment coming from your well, these work well. I have red sediment (mud?) since having our well pump replaced. I change these monthly.

Sorry can't tell you what country these are manufactured in. I was a customer that purchased these, not the manufacturer. Will these replace aquasana's whole house post filter cartrige - same deminsions?

If same dimensions, yes. The drawback of these filters is their support in the body. They will actually twist the paper element when tightening and can tear the paper which ruins the filter. If you do not have a clear filter housing you would not know this happens. Be sure you have a clear housing to watch for this or I recommend a better quality filter.

what is the flow rate gpm of this filter?

I have a 2 hp well pump rated at 15 gpm and I use these filters as a whole house filter and have not had a problem.
